If you had your present Mustang for about 3 years and somehow managed to pay it off, would you trade it on a new vehicle with around 350-400HP, or supercharge the one you have?

You get bored too easily... would you invest in the blower and then be able to keep it for 2-3 more years?

I have some good sources at work now. I'll contact our procurement company and have them contact Intertape Polymer Group for me. I'll give them the bar code number and they should be able to track it down easily with that.

Whipple no doubt. The spare change I have from paying off the vehicle early I'd buy me a beater truck for the daily driver.

Then again, I'm dying to see what the 2010 Mustang will look like.

Thanks. Good news though I got in contact with the guy on Mod Fords and he's sending me the 6FT he had left from his install. He's sending it priority mail. He only charged me $10 total. Not bad when he said it cost him $30 at the local Pep Boys.

I'd keep it and Supercharge it.

Honestly, I'd trade it in if I found something I liked more. I wouldn't do it right away, but I already know that I'm probably not going to keep the car forever.

I ABSOLUTELY wouldn't supercharge it. That's $4-5K thrown into a car that is going to promote wear and tear (which = more $ in repairs) and bring very little back in investment.

Looking at my reference pics, I think relocating the rear ball just might work. There's another flat mounting section forward of that hose that runs across the top of the intake.

It looks like we'll have to come up with some sort of spacer between the bottom of the scoop/shroud and the ball... may 2-3".

I agree looks like it will work. The 2-3" spacer seems like a big problem. I wonder if there's an easier way to make the back a straight cut w/o having to relocate the stud.

Could the shroud be used by itself to cover the ugly valve covers (for example: on my car)

Obviously, some trimming may be necessary

Sure if you don't mind it looking something like this. Seriously though there wouldn't be any mounting points so there's no way it could be secured to your engine once the Shaker's cut out.

If you really want to cover up the fuel rails why not get something like this. Ouch! I never knew how expensive these things were.

I had already looked into those when they first came out...expensive and FUGLY in my opinion.
