Ponies on The Run (Again)

One guy did that (rear camera) here in TMS a while back. Imagine looking at a live video feed of the cars behind you on the freeway while you're driving?... pretty cool!

Ready to do some reading??
Well, I was going to post videos of the RPM's when the car started with the stock tune versus the 87P tune, but there is really no noticeable difference. RPM's seem to raise the same (might rise a bit faster with the 87P) and drop the same... and drop to the same RPM (doesn't have the problem Mike was having).
However, I don't care what the RPM gauge says, because the **** above was ****! Hmmmm... still stars, huh? Well, then F***!!! As in WOW! (Leo was close!)
First I found a deserted street (may become a video shooting street) and peeled out in 1st, shifted quickly into 2nd and because of this was able to lay a short patch. Don't forget about the sticky tires, please. Under normal shifting (winding it up in 1st, then shifting to 2nd), I'm really lucky if I can even get a chirp.
Then back to home to program.
Back to the same street. I let the car get moving after peeling out in 1st because I really wanted to see if it was the tune that let me peel out in 2nd and not the quick shifting. Well, I get it into 2nd, floor it and the car doesn't launch forward like it used to (tires), but instead starts peeling out and eventually the rear end starts to try to come up and say hello! I kept on it and counter-steered so I could finish the burn out.
So, the stock CAI may hinder it some-what, but don't believe everything you read on the internet, because it made a huge difference! Also, some of the lag is gone (I know more will be gone with the 93 tunes and especially the 93R tune).
This tune alone is worth the $400 and it's like it should come from the factory. I just hate that I have 2 more tunes to test out before getting to the 93R!

I never was a Doug Doubter... I just was "afraid" of a few things. 1. The stock CAI, even though Doug, himself, told me it would make a huge difference. 2. The tires. I'm so happy I can waste them with just the 87P... can't wait to lay down some rubber with the freakin' 93R!

If you're going to test out Doug's tunes on your $$$ tires, do yourself a favor and go straight in with the 93R... you know you want to!

I'm going to take it down to 10 miles until empty... fill up... drive a day or two... fill up again... and go to the 93T tune. Should be nearly 100% 93 octane by then.

BTW, for what it's worth, I would have voted 2-1. But you had to get impatient and go and order already without waiting for my vote!

If it makes you feel any better Bill didn't get to vote either. Look on the bright side I ordered what you picked. The thread you speak of has been deleted.
