Ponies on The Run (Again)

btw, more pics
Speaking of SN95's, I finally got a chance to drive Fly's GT the other day.
First thoughts.. It rode alot smoother and tighter than I imagined. The stock shifter throw sucks, feels like a school bus (desperately needs a MGW ). It felt a little slow initially until Luis gave me the okay to drop the hammer, then I felt the GT power.
I don't know what the heck Brian was complaining about with the SN95's. DD drivability is great, good power on tap, mods are cheap, nothing to complain about from me.

Gimme 5 minutes and I can show you some poor design on them that makes them look like something slapped together from the malaise-era Detroit mess. Never said anything about the power from them. Preference is the 32V or the terminator...
BUT, once I get this way about something I'm relentless about it... probably OCD-ish.

there is definitely some fit and finish flaws, no doubt. There are a couple minor things I dont like too much about the interior, mostly, the turn signal hangs too far down. I've hit it with my knee going for the clutch when the left signal is on multiple times now.
I like the fact that it's got some power, but with my louder exhaust, I run it up there pretty good sound wise, look down and I'm only doing 60, so it's not overpowering. I do know that it closes in on 100 with no problem whatsoever

That's easy... don't like the fit and finish or the body style and the '03-'04 that I had to ride in was cramped.

The interior feels a bit more cramped compared to the S197, but still isn't bad for the average sized dude. If you want to talk cramped, try sitting in a Lotus Elise, that's a PITA for ingress/egress!
I think we can all agree that each gen has their quirks, none are perfect.

I didn't say they were perfect. I said that I have no complaints about them.

Hey David, nevermind all the haters, as long as you like it and are happy with your new car, that's all that matters.

****! That intake's huge. Now that's a well done part I can just only imagine the endless hours of measuring, cutting & welding that thing.
Bill,
Maybe you can help this guy out. I can't remember who did the fading stripes. Was it Dark Fire?
