This guy installed the clears with the black housing. Check them out it looks good. I wish he didn't have his headlights smoked so I could see how well it matches the headlamp housing. Might have to get these now.

I'm glad you showed me that post. I think I like the clears W/O the black housings better (since I'm not going for the smoked look). Would look great on your car, though, Leo... and much better than the amber.

Now thinking about it, the black car might make them look different. I need to see them on a white car before finally deciding.

Well I have the smoked overlays now but you can still see some of the amber. I think it would look good on your car since it would match your headlamp housing.

Here's before and after.

I know... that's what I meant to say... the black housing would look better than your smoked amber lights.

As far as me... check out this pic:

Attachment 10870

See how the corners match the "glassy-ness" of the headlights and the driving lights? And how they have a certain "black-ness" swirled in with the clear? I think the black-housing corners will be too dark. Maybe it only looked that way on that black car. Would really like to see them on a PW.

I think the black housing would look better. Looking at that pic the clears you have now seem to match more with the fogs. Let's see what everyone else chimes in with.

I vote for the clears with black housing.

Now you can roll it back up. When you open the door, it should crack down like before.
Went out, hooked up the negative battery cable, and the car started right up. I reset the windows and there is one important step not mentioned above. This has to be done with the door closed. I know you say "when you open the door" in the last step, but I didn't really think about it.

If you do the reset with the door open, it works, and the window still goes down when you open the door, but it's max up position is wrong.

Bill I was spying on you and saw your were reading the write up on loading emailed tunes onto your sct. I went on the sct site and downloaded all the programs and drivers and found a write-up from sct on how to load tunes onto the sct. Here's the link. FYI if you haven't already you might want to download these three things from there site.

Here's the link to the three items below.

SCT Live Load 3

SCT Windows Drivers:

I think they both look good, just personal preference. The only thing that's certain is the ambers clash somewhat with the PW and BLK.

That's what I left to assumption, silly me.

Thanks Leo. I viewed the Live Load flash, but it doesn't explain how to delete an existing tune in the handheld to make room for a new one.

I see an option to delete all the tunes, but I don't want to do that.

I think when you plug in your sct the three files you have will show up in the boxes on the live load program and you just add the file to the one you want to get rid of. Did that make sense???

I wonder if Doug includes all five tunes on the cd seeing as if you deleted one of the three from your sct you wouldn't have it anymore. Hopefully I'll know withing a few hours. Or maybe I should call him.

Just called him. He said all five of my tunes should be on the cd. He also told me all that stuff I just downloaded is included on two discs that come with the sct. Well now I wait.

Bill- Did you ever get in touch with hime about the 91r you wanted? If not you should call him now. He answered on the first try.

I don't think there are any tunes on the CD that comes with the tuner.

EDIT... guess I'm wrong! Happens every once in awhile!

Sorry I guess I didn't make myself clear. Doug said he burned a cd with my five tunes. Doug also said that there are two cd's from sct in the box that have all the pc software needed to load new tunes onto the sct. So all the downloads from the links above are unecessary because you already have them on those two cd's from sct.

Ok good... I wasn't wrong. I only got 1 CD with my tuner... and I just checked it... no tunes.
