New topic.. I might try and teach Chris how to drive the Mustang Saturday. Only driving experience so far has been the Sebring in Hawaii for around 2 blocks.
Not only will it test his skill, but also my patience. This should be interesting.

In all seriousness, that is cool. Good Luck and say goodbye to your clutch for me. Take him somewhere he can't hurt anything. Like Edwards dry lake bed or Palmdale..... a couple cactii later he'll know how to drive the car.

give the kid some credit...it only took me a few hours to learn how, a month (of basically no driving) to get really good at it. course...I was i a 91 nissan pickup, witha whopping 140hp

It's a good idea to let Chris get used to the car now... Baby steps... 
As for Nav units, I just bought an app for my iPhone that does the voice navigation, turn by turn for $20... I am not sure what features it doesn't have compared to the big units, but it works and that's all I need... I love my iPhone...
