Gotta PM from Adam @ ST tonight. He saw my post on S197 about the times I ran and what I'd like to run. He said he could make a few shifting tweaks that would net me a tenth or two "probably two" that I'm looking for.

For the rest of the SoCal crew Brian and I are planning on going to Barona Sunday the 7th of December. Adam's going to be there so he'll be able to do the tweaks while were at the track.

11 seconds run's are in my future.

Luis-Are you coming down?

I think METH is in your future. METH + some advanced timing, 11 sec or maybe better?

Hey I'm not Bill "Mr. Anti-Intercooler". I've got one remember? That's probably the main reason for my consistent times.

So Jed you going to bring the Roush down to Barona?

I know your intercooled but on METH you can advance timing and get more ponies. GTR tells me you can get 18 to 25 HP / 1 degree of timing. You could have a METH tune and just run it while at the track. Barona some day! I will eventually make it there but not right now. I'd like to see what the ROUSH will do in a true Qt mile.

Off topic: I registered for the Sunset show and got the stimulus deal just $25.00 bones!

Barona is such a better track and has better air that I'd be really surprised if you didn't hit 11s, although.... not to be a ***** you still have to run it on a 1/4 track to really claim that number. You don't know what it's like on the top-end. It could nose-over and a whole host of other things. Then again on a perfect run the adjusted time is possible.

Looking forward to racing you @ Barona. We only got 2 shots last time, I want more. This time I know what to expect and should be better prepared, mentally. Not that it's going to make me ricky-racer overnight but man anything that will help I'll take.

Luis DO IT

Just say NO to Meth !!!!

Close enough for me. Although I would love to actually take it to a 1/4 track.

Leo I was trying to point out a few pages back, that your times compared to mine in the 1/8 mile are very close, except for mph which is from 1) traction and 2) hp. That said, I believe you have an 11 second ride as it stands now! But tweaking your shift points is def worthwhile anyway.

I guess I'll know the weekend of the 6th when I got to Barona.

Partly true. Put you have to figure if the engine was getting heat soaked the car would naturally start to slow down with or without the auto tranny. I don't think you'll ever win the non-cooled is just as good as cooled debate.

Me big head? Only in my pants.
