Nice looking stang he's done quite a few mods not to be on the car show circuit .

Nope, I was all out of M&M's for my dessert tonight. I'll do more food shopping tomorrow.

Bet you hit your number @ Barona. Much better track, IMO. Also being further away from the ocean it should be less humid, but then it's also higher elevation. Hell you were so close you could taste it.... and a tenth should be easily doable.... not even counting the 100 octane.

What does that say that we're almost to the point that we need to run roll cages... purty scary, no ?
Yeah I'll probably make a few runs before trying the 100 octane. One I started going to the track two years ago I never imagined I would be anywhere near needing all that crap.

Why not a black clear corner? It'll keep up your "sinster" look.

He said running a full tank of fuel as if it's going to get your rear traction weight can get you crispy

They've got a couple EMT's with an ambulance there at all times.

So do have an 'estimate' of what the boost in power the 100 octane tune is ? and do you have any reservations of going to the extra power and 100 octane. When I got my tune originally Adam told me it 'should' make 490 at the wheels then added "things start to break at those numbers". That has kept me away from looking at or going for a 'race tune'

I would be afraid for my internals with that kind of power.

Wow that's insane. I'll have to call him and ask. If he tells me what you just said I'll be sticking with the 91.

I want to get new engine guts but on my terms and timelime. If I'm forced into it that car is gonna sit for a long time.

Well now you know why I don't have a race tune. I'd like to keep things in one piece for as long as possible.

100 octane should be interesting for numbers, but I'm not sure I'd try it yet

and that's a nice ride, but I'll be honest, the shopping cart was the first thing I saw in that picture, scared the crap outta me

So....

speaking of mods....

I'm falling in love with the Cobra Jet look. CS front-end and bullit grille.
what do you all think of that ??

if I had a good pic and knew photoshop to remove the hood, make it Vista Blue and add stripes maybe that'd change my mind or make it up ??

just throwing it out there.

I was thinking about that, maybe to chrome version has to much bling to it. Where did you get yours Leo? The guy at Galpin Autosports said we can do the whole job for $300.00 dollars. Ya right those guys are so overpriced it's . Monica is going to check on a price for me, I think American Muscle as them for $99.00 bones for both look. But they have this vid telling you to seal the whole thing with silicone to keep moisture out, that's hokie. Must be assembled in a 3rd world country .

Looks good. I just wouldn't want to spend the close to 1k on getting the bumper, paint and then the grille.

I think I got mine from Ebay. I've had them for at least 6 months now and haven't had any issues. The price sounds about right. As you saw when fly swapped his it's about a 20 minute job. The guys at Galpin are thieves.

Change out the grill as a first step that maybe enough to get the look you want. Those drag tires are nice!
