They were over 20 bucks per. Easier to do because of location but other than that still a PITA. The t-paper probably would have been better....

Morning....

Looks like after all the posts yesterday Bill decided to actually work today..

Saw the Agent47 mirrors, but they're only 20 or so bucks cheaper than a new set...if it was < 200 I'd be all over it.

No new mods for me. Turns out I still hate SCT. But it's my fault. Be careful of what you ask for, you might get it. I asked for a X3 and that's what I got. Now I have to pay to get the car re-tuned because X2 tunes are not compatible with the X3... so I am probably looking 500 or so bucks...

Guys says OBO on the add. I'm sure if you pm'ed him and said $200 he'd deal. Just saying.

Why not just call and have them send you an X2. No way I'd pay $500 for something I already have. Or worse case scenario sell the X3 and buy a unlocked used X2 off the forums. People are always selling them.

RET can tune it for $400 or so.

Then it'll be like getting the A47 mirrors at half price.

No I haven't reinstalled the stock one yet. It's 22mm. My understanding that it's not just about the size but the rigidity of the bar itself. Insert joke here. Not getting the front bar because the guy said it was damaged. So if I ever decide I need a front swaybar I'll either throw on the stock one or buy the eibach front swaybar.

Yeah I have something funny to share about this whole thing a little later on. Can't let the cat outta the bag yet and it's an inside joke for those of us here in the so cal area.

Pulling that number outta my azz. If I prepare myself that it'll be 500-600 bucks and it's cheaper then I won't feel so raped.

Yeah well I did ask for it. I thought, assumed (yeah I know) that they'd be usable across devices. Figures. From what I've been told, and this is only a quick overview, the X3 is new and there are parameters in the X3 that aren't in the X2. Because of that and the additional fields/parameters the tunes aren't compatible. I have to take the car out to San Berdo and get it re-tuned.

Maybe I should ask for something that will really beat Leo on the track and make up for poor driving ??

Their PS tank cap is anodized black and has their name plated on it. I'm not a fan of their name plated or stamped on the tanks, unless of course if they paid me for it All in all pleased with them and I will install them when I get motivated

Could you post some pics up once you get them installed? No hurry or anything, just want to see what they look like under the hood.

No you won't. You'll end up selling the rear Eibach bar and getting a complete BMR sway kit.

After reading the text included below from the Steeda website looks like swapping to an aftermarket front swaybar isn't nearly as important as the rear swaybar.

"V6 models come with a 28mm front swaybar for an 85% increase in roll stiffness. V8 GT and GT500 models are equipped with a 34mm front swaybar for a 10% increase in roll stiffness."

So an aftermarket front swaybar is only 10% better than the factory piece. While the rear swaybar is good for a 50% increase as per Steeda.

"This bar provides a 50% increase in roll stiffness for improved handling, improved steering response, and reduced understeer for improved handling balance. A must have for the cornering enthusiast and perfect for street or track use."

So with that said if and when I decide to go with a front swaybar I'm keeping the stock one.
