I would just go all Black, no matte. I just don't think it would be noticeable enough for the average person to see. Just my opinion though

For you, no 2-tone.

I have seen both (solid) painted and matte CDC Classic spoilers from guys at my club with black GT's and both look good, just boils down to personal preference.

Well just a little farther on the Audio System Install.
Last two days I haven't really got squat done.
Yesterday I did the following:
Installed the spade connectors on the wires to the amps.
Attachment 8453
Installed the Subwoofer Grille
Attachment 8454
Trunk looks like this now
Attachment 8455
Ran the power wire down the passenger side & wire through the firewall nipple, into the Engine Bay.

Today I Installed the Power Line Fuse Holder and straightened some of the wiring in the back.
Fuse Holder Location - Battery Removed
Attachment 8456

Fuse Holder Installed No Cover - Battery Removed
Attachment 8457

Fuse Holder Installed with Cover - Battery Removed
Attachment 8458

Fuse Holder Installed with Cover - Battery In Place
Attachment 8459

You see where I am going with the wiring, trying to to keep it neat and away from each other as much as possible. Just need to find a good ground for the ground wire.

Attachment 8460

Tomorrow, if things work like expected, I will complete the installation. Front door speakers (Going to be a ***** running wires through door) and then the head unit.
I will be done with it excpet the XM coming Wednesday cause UPS lost it for 3 days

Looks good, Daryl.

Have you fired up the sytem yet through the Shaker HU? When's the Alpine HU going in?

Thanks.
No I can't fire it up until I get it ALL installed. Hopefully tomorrow, I am going to try to get an early start and get the rest done. I have been doing it slowly in steps for a good reason.
I didn't have the time to do it all at once, so the little steps have allowed me to have some of it done, but at no time have I been without the stock radio.
I will take plenty of pictures (I have already taken several) when it's all installed and probably some sort of a write-up.
I can't wait it should rock the house.

OK all the wires are as straight as I will get them.
The white clips don't look all that hot, but no one will really ever see it anyway.

Looks good! I'm pretty picky (as you know), but not about stuff people don't see. Plus, power and signal go through curvy wire pretty good, too!

Ordered Some Stuff

Well I ordered the leather wrapped console lid and some pony emblems from Kevin on Friday. I also ordered the 14" antenna and vinly sill letters to put on my shaker. I can't wait till they arrive.

I'm holding off on getting my sct from Doug untill I go down to ACT ONE in El Cajon. Reason is I found out from a SDMC member that he got his hood stipes (wide boss style stripes) and windows tinted by them for $250. The vinly appeared to be real good quality so I'm going do go down there Tuesday and ask for a quote. I'm planning on getting the 70's style mach one hood stripe in a matte dark grey like the 03 mach1's had. So depending on how that goes my tuner might have to wait till next month.

FYI tomorrow I'll be down at Bill's place since he's generously volunteered to help me install my k&n intake modify my shaker tubing.

Below are some pics of the stripe package that I'll hopefully be getting this week. Which one do you guys think looks better the way the yellow stang has them or the black one???
