On a side note:
A husband and wife were sitting watching TV when he turned to his wife and said,
'Honey, tell me something that will make me both happy and sad at the same time.'
She said, 'You have the biggest ***** of all your friends.'

To be honest I'm not even sure what I just said......
OK, maybe another Crown and Coke does sound good. They're keeping my company as I watch Ghost Hunters in HD.

Yeah its great. But isn't the coming month the worst for us? Don't they start forming in the Gulf?
I used to live in Tampa... and in Sarasota.
Are you going to MOSI in October?

Should I get stage 8 header bolts for my shorty install? From what I've read the bolts don't fasten down all the way on ours so it doesn't even lock which IMO defeats the purpose of using them over the stockers. I know Tom281 has said he used his stock bolts with no problems as well as a few other people. Plus I heard the fit on the stage 8 header bolts are tighter than a 3rd grader.

I actually used the standard type bolt that came with my Kooks headers. I've checked and rechecked them and they are still snug as a bug. Or maybe tight as a second grader.
I didn't reuse the stockers because I was really afraid of stripping that stem. I think it was like an 8mm or so. Anyway when I used the new bolts I used some antiseize on the threads. This was advised by a very good mechanic friend of my dad's. He said if you don't you risk never being able to back that bolt out. So please put a little anti seize on it.
As far as the gaskets, I bought new OEM, and then realized they looked in the same condition as the ones I had taken off. I went ahead and used the new ones anyway, but I didn't need to.
