This is true. Leo's been nagging me ever since I blew his doors off in an impromptu race.
Leo has wanted some payback ever since.

That sounds like fun... a POTR track day!

Like Brian, I'd like to get some new rubber and a grape lid first.

So when's the LCA/Relo's going on? Guessing it's not part of the party plans, right? Or is it?

Waaa.. I need more sleep.

Suck it up Brian. Luis, Jed and myself are working on 3-5 hours of sleep, plus heartburn from chili-cheese dogs!

With that said, it may be too late for me to stay out.

I feel your pain Tom. Look at the high on Monday and then the next night it was freaking snowing. Such BS

Oklahoma weather is screwed.

It sounds fun to me, racing against each other in good fun.

Your car was pretty much broken in at the factory. I can't help the 'learning to drive' part!

I would like to go at least to check it out first. We don't have to race, just get a feel for it and what to expect. Then get the new rubber and brain bucket.

LCAs and Relos will go in prior to the party. Early report on the Driveshaft is that there is no dings or problems and that it looks good. I'll have pics to post of it all tomorrow.

Going to the track is definately one of the coolest things you can do with your car, it's an adrenaline rush.

Brian-Congrats on the new mods. Make sure to snap some pics of the LCA's from the side of the car so we can see how much they stand out.

BTW-Escort Solo S2 radar detector and mount both came in today. I've already installed it and taken it out for a test drive. Picked up my garage door as well as some K-band. Never did see the cop though. The radar looks brand new. Came in the orginal packaging and everything. No signs of wear whatsoever. I was kind of worried since it was my first time getting something that wasn't local off craigslist. Glad it worked out. Saved myself $180.

I might consider hardwiring it in the future with this kit from Escort.

Might also buy another mount so that I can switch it between cars.

Fixed it. Is Jed planning on this too?

Off to the track.

Let's hope there's not any smoke. Wish me luck.

Actually I'm in love with Lithium ('90s grunge)...... my wife is 27 and she loves the friggin' 80s/90s hair band channel. We listen to Howard alot too, atleast when the kids aren't with us or they have their own headphones on when they are.

Brian - I always love getting new mods especially when its a bunch at a time! Hah. Deff let me know your first impressions with the LCA's and relocation. Thats deff a future mod after the supercharger.

On a happy note. I'm 99.99% sure I sold the K&N CAI to a fellow TMS member. So thats good. Before I sell and ship I want to make sure I have the stock intake ready and complete. He wants to send payment ASAP. So thats cool. Now to unload the rest of my unneeded stock stufffffff.

I'll get pics and impressions up this weekend. Install is going to happen either Sunday or Next Saturday for the LCAs and Relos. Saving the DS, Loop and UCA (if needed) for the install party. I don't think I've ever had this many mods land at the same time, or this short of a period. Cool stuff. Goodies for my baby !! As far as mods for the blower/huffer/Jimmy/Stuffer/Supercharger these mods were planned to be in the car prior to the blower. It was something I didn't want to have to worry about post-blower.... if that makes sense. I was going to do tires too, and rotorpros, but they may happen just before or right after the blower.

The good news... I think I know where I'm going to buy it from and I'm 85/15 on installing myself and saving 1K/having it installed for me. The grand will get me gauges and a dyno tune at the least. Even better, probably gonna have the money settled next week or maybe the following at the latest. After that it's just spend, spend, spend.

I love the concept and there are channels that I'd like to have, but I can't get past the paying what I can get for free from either terrestrial radio, CDs or my iPod.

Saving a $1k is pretty substantial if you do the install yourself. My local speed shop charges $85/hour labor, which is probably the same rate for dyno tuning.
A 3 gauge setup will run at least $500 (+/- $$$ depending on the model gauges you pick), plus your gauge mounting system.

The whole project will cost some bucks, but will be worth it!
