If you can't use the front spacers, I'm sure someone will take them off your hands.
I'm surprised your the only one that commented on the horn. I was thinking it would be a fun mod for the stang.

I'll sell them to you at the Steeda price of $99. Seriously though I may have overstated the difference in handling with the front spacers. After a couple days of driving I can't even tell they're there. I'll make a believer out of all you socal guys next week when you see it in person.

Motor mount install next weekend. If George and Brian comeover we can knock it out in 15 minutes.

Party at George's? Or do we need the Kevin/Taco pit?

I think Jed will be ready for his BMR front loop install soon too. Kevin is putting the finishing touches on the shim plate.

Bad news my motor mounts are on backorder. They should still be here by next Friday though. Let's cross our fingers. I may just suck it up cancel the order and pay $15-20 from another vendor.

This sounds like fun are we thinking Sat or Sun? Maybe C&C George? I'm taking this Wednesday off to get the stang an alignment. Then after that I'm droping the wheels to get them plated Muhahaha Ferrari Black? Maybe I'm still thinking about which finish.

FYI I spoke with Charlie today he had BMR sub frame connectors welded to his undercarrage. His ride is at Galpin getting blinged out. As Charlie would say
"I want an award!"

As long as it's before 12:00. I won't be staying any later since the Packers play next Saturday at 1.

Looking forward to seeing the wheels+spacers/tire combo.

Yeah Install party for sure. I don't know that I can make C&C though.

I'll take some pics tomorrow even though my car is more brown than black at the moment. I'm not bringing the stang down until the following weekend. Probably not doing C&C either. I'll be at Kev's for free Pizza though.

Leo, what happened to the 15th? You're weak!!

Let me clear the schedule for Saturday the 19th or Sunday the 20th with Kevin and the use of the garage.

This also might just be the weekend for Leo's BE birthday bash!

You know you'd do the same if you were getting tires.
The 21st would work too since it's MLK day. 20th is bad because that's the day of the conference championship games (For you non football fan's that's the day the final four teams play and you find out who's going to the Superbowl.) So are we shooting for my install plus George's for that weekend?

LOL! I was looking into the radar detector thing today at work. The best price I found for the model Bill's got is $279.

Where's the pics Phil?

Would like to see where you put the ballast, wiring, and of course, the light output.

I don't have the 21st off.

Yeah, the plan is to squeeze both installs at once.

George, if Leo can't make it because of his Priority One football games ( ), we can give you his time slot for a 1-pc aluminum 3.5" Shaftmaster DS install. Perfect time to do it since we'll have it up on jacks and the stock DS out of the way (will make it all that much easier to install the MGW).
Just have to get the BMR front loop and beg Kevin for a shim plate.

I got my Solo S2 off ebay for around $200 (slightly) used off a C5.

Good deal Tom!

I'm sure you're already aware of the potential clearance issue between the MGW shifter block and the (if you choose to get) BMR front safety loop, right?

Yes I am, thanks! I'm undecided on what loop to get yet- my car came with the factory bar near the middle of the shaft so I've got some time to decide I guess.

I'm still looking into getting the compact HalGuard clean agent fire extinguisher in chome along with their custom polished billet bracket.

It's a good idea for everyone, especially for me with all the custom wiring I did in my cupholder area and behind the radio.

Looks good, but costs around $260 plus shipping (thru Summit).
