What is the benefit of a subscription here. You get 20 lines of signature and can PM more that 4 people... what else is there ? Is there something I'm missing ? 'cause I let mine go and am not interested in getting it back if this is all there is. What am I missing here ?

 

$100 is a pretty good deal. I could pick them up if I got them.

Seriously though, I don't know..... I joined/contributed mostly because this is my favorite site.

 

I didn't know about the 20 lines and +4 on PM's.

Besides accessing the online Service Manual, I'm not sure what other perks come with the membership.

Personally, being a TMS member has given me a couple things.. a cool italic hyperlink C/T and getting access to the LA Auto Show.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure when my initial year was up. I remember reading that the renewal was automatic.

The new tune is in my car - finally got it from my computer to the Predator... with the proper cable, it's a piece of cake! Go figure.

The dyno people let us down again. What a bunch of jack offs. They're big talkers until I show up and then... "oh, we can't put you on now, or boss is here". *** that **** - I'd rather pay Justin $55 in January.

Again... J.R. left his booth and met me right away. Nothing he could do.

 

Yeah, there is something he can do... give you $55.

Oh yeah, I think the popping of my upper strut mount will be solved this weekend. Apparently the guy who did the work on my car at Gainesville Ford lives in the same building as me. I had a talk with him and he said he would fix it for me. I'm really happy I don't have to get a new USM or some HD USMs for now. Gainesville Ford is awesome.

 

Now you sound like my dad! If he didn't meet me or left me hangin' I might feel that way. Guess you have to be there to see how hard he tries, but people don't follow through with what they say. They just give me and him excuses.

Yes... I already talked to him.

 

People have said a lot about J.R. and his company on this forum.
No matter what,there are 2 things I learned last year about J.R.:
He is a true motorhead.
He really means well.

 

I think the biggest problem with J.R. is that his enthusiasm gets the better of him and his pride won't let him back down... just my $.02.
