Honestly, someone that didn't know the car would have thought that everything was fine. I wouldn't really expect him to open and close the top, because it appeared to be fine when shut...I just decided to open and shut it just to make sure everything looked OK. And, knowing what it should be like, I know that it's wrong.

I'm sure that the dealership will get everything corrected. They've done well for me so far with regard to customer service, and I don't expect anything less from them with this issue either.
OK if your happy I'm happy, would have been nice if they had tried out the top before handing off to you.......................

Well, in the dealer's defense, it probably wasnt something that they thought about, they had it sent for a new top, who would have thought the second wouldnt work.

No of course not. That's just a quick one he did to show me how it would look with the stuff I asked for.

I like the look. Gives more screen real-estate and I don't have to scroll down as much to get to the pics when I have many sub-albums.

By having the albums on the LH side, it limits the amount of text (of the name of the album) to almost nothing. I know you can just roll your mouse pointer over it and a little flyout window will expand it, but I liked it better before, when it showed more.

I'm not alone, the PhotoBucket Forum is flooded with whiners like me about this latest change.

Well, the dealership is going above and beyond to make this right, which is what I expected.

They brought in a vert specialist to take a look to see what is going on, and will actually keep my car at the dealership for the install. So, the specialist is going to actually work on it at the dealership, vs. sending the car out (to somewhere else)

So, hopefully all will be well.

Best of luck Mike, sounds like you have a pretty competent dealer or at least one that will make it right no matter what it takes.

Hope it works out Mike. I know I went through hell with my decklid during the ducktail install so I know how you feel. Sucks when you have to keep leaving your car at the dealer.

Good news-
"Jonco" will be buying my K&N off me and another forum member "ramairgt1" will be sending me his C&L racer early next week.

Mustangshadow maybe buying the flowmasters.

LCA's, LCA relos, GMS a-arm support, and Stingers all awaiting install at Kevins this weekend if all goes well.

SHR rear medallion and MGW coat hanger kit are enroute.

Gears go in tomorrow at 8am and my chin spoiler is ready for pickup from HCM. I'm going bold with 4:10's let's hope I made the right decision.

Big mod month for me!!!! If all goes well may have a aluminum d/s before the end of the year at an awesome price. Won't reveal anything untill it's certain.

New mod for Jed

Just when you think you'er done

http://www.teamjdm.com/shop/product_...roducts_id=199

This time some JDM lowering engine mounts! Oh there so nice and blingy But that's not the real reason I got them I want to lower the motor to better install my strut tower brace and also as a side benefit to lower the CG of the car. I think this helps for better power transfer too, hopfully this isn't...

I can't sleep on the web shopping!

Jed

Let's see... at $60/hr, I'm estimating a 3 hour job!
j/k.. maybe we'll hit In N' Out again!

I think it's a good choice going with the 4.10's. If you want bang for the buck, I don't think you would've been happy with the 3.73's.

Told ya Jed that there's some aftermarket (lowering) motor mounts.
I just didn't know from who or where to get them.

Gear install went without a hitch. No wines or moans. Two more "heat cycles" before I let it rip.

Chin spoiler is installed.

SHR Medallion is here. (Bill might be installing at Kevin's if we have time)

I've got pics of it all I'll post later. Also a mini-review of the gears so far. I'm off to an orthodontist appt.
