I think it good I just wish they'd done a little more to it. It's not bad though considering they're only asking $30,000 for it.

JONCO-You got pm. Let's get the ball rolling I need my C&L.

Looks okay from the pics. I'll have to see it in person, then I'll decide.

I can tell you though that the GT500KR in person looks KILLER!!

I can see the ADM's already.

Getting one of these Bullitts will guarantee you a trophy in the Bullitt Class, at least for half a season (until they start popping up everywhere).

Great news everyone: I finally got the mustang back today.

The bad news: I had put the top down when I got home to see if it was right. Well, it's not. The top didn't close into the rear compartment correctly, and it wouldn't re-latch without requiring MAJOR!!!! force (it would only drop to about 2 inches above the header panel, for those of you with verts). So, I had my car for all of about 20 minutes before it was back at the dealer.

The even worse news: I had to drive back to the dealership with the top down in like 40* weather (and the sun was already set).....brrrrrrrr!! But, it was either that or possibly damage the A-pillar by putting extreme force on it and the hinge to relatch it (although it was probably already done once just to get the top to shut the first time)

The service dept was already closed when I picked it up.

So, I just returned my car and picked back up my loaner. The dealership has been real good about the whole thing so far. It's really not their fault, since they contracted it out. So, I'm sure that the service manager will be as upset as I am when he sees that it's still not right after all this time.

I would have thought that the service manager would have checked out the work they sub contracted before they returned the car to their customer. After all they are still the prime on this and are responsible for all work done by a sub.

Seems like no one from the service dept did a final check or pass before handing off to you Mike, thats lazy in my book. Even if they make it right you still made an unnecessary trip to the dealer.

Actually, quite the opposite. The service manager even drove down to the shop yesterday to take a look at it to make sure everything was OK, since they seemed to keep saying "it will be tomorrow" for a few days in a row. He then drove down to the shop earlier today to pick it up, and even had the detailer clean the car up for me.

Honestly, someone that didn't know the car would have thought that everything was fine. I wouldn't really expect him to open and close the top, because it appeared to be fine when shut...I just decided to open and shut it just to make sure everything looked OK. And, knowing what it should be like, I know that it's wrong.

I'm sure that the dealership will get everything corrected. They've done well for me so far with regard to customer service, and I don't expect anything less from them with this issue either.

Looks good! Is yours going to say "Mustang Sally"?

Mine shipped - now it's just a race against the Canadian/US Postal Service and time.

It's good to see a dealer with good customer service, hope your top gets fixed the second time around.
