Nevermind on the a-arm. GMS is saying that regardless of how many s/h will be $15. So I went ahead and ordered mine. Total came out to $32 which is fine as it's still $30 cheaper than BMR or CHE. If any of you are interested just call and say you saw they're $15 special on Mod Fords.

Back to the garage.....

Tom, any tips on applying the Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal?

Or is it as simple as spray on the paint and wipe on with the cotton applicator, then let dry on its own.

Chris had a battery powered 911 Vert when he was little, it was a 2-speed. In high gear, it would move pretty quick!

Tom has been busy all day getting two cars ready for the MOSI show tomorrow. It's the show with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. Hopefully I'll get two Golds again... it says "new trophy style", so at least they'll be different than last year.

Yep... Just Apply and Let Dry!

Here we go again!

I found out that JDM Industries makes the Watts Link for Saleen. But the big diffrence is their cost $950.00 vs $1,299.00 from Saleen. It doesn't take an Einstien

to figure out this one. So I ordered two of these Hahahah! One for me and one for Charlie. I tell you it's fun making other people spend money! (I think I mastered this technique from TacoBill, TY Bill!)

(Below):
Charlie's V6 Vortec machine proud new owner of a Watts Link system
He decided to purchase the WL after he did a high speed lane change north bound on the 605 on our way to GTR. The only suprise was he didn't warn me he was going to do that little manuver. He almost broke my neck!

While at GTR I saw these wheels 4 sale. This looks like a killer deal! Plus I like the rim design...

Here's another wheel deal...

Another product from Baer brakes they have a kit the uses your existing calipers and it allows you to use their rotor. I think the minimum rim size is 18 inch. Here is the rotor by itself on Gonzalo's ride:

Here is the rim and rotor on the car:
(Front)

(Rear):

The system comes with Hawk pads and I think Gonzalo said it cost around $600 bones for all 4 wheels not including labor for install. I'll find out exactly how much it is. They look great on the car BTW

Do you know if that kit relocates the stock caliper? I'm having to deal with offset issues with my choice of rim limiting the aftermarket brakes I could buy.

Dang Jed! Christmas came early for you! I think you've exceeded the cost of the GT500.

However all this is good news, I'm sure Leo will want to see how the WL gets installed.

Charlie is one crazy ****!

Bare Brakes a new company or typo'd Baer? I really like it though. Looks beefier and better built than my RotorPros, but mine were alot cheaper (comparing the 2, you can see why).

Jon the kit does come with a bracket to accept the bigger rotor. I'll call Gonzalo today and get more detail. Depending on your rim there maybe clearance issues between the rim spoke and the caliper. I'll see what kind of offset you need to remedy that.

Leo and I are heading to Mission Bay, San Diego tomorrow morning for the carshow. We're entered in seperate Classes so no one is torn between our cars.

Full report with pics by tomorrow evening (hopefully).

Good luck to Tom at MOSI!

Hey, what about me?!

We each got a "gold" trophy. (or in Tom's case 2 golds) He ended up having to jump the trooper, the battery went kaput at the show. Was a lot of fun though. I've got lots of pics.
