Anyway thinking about it ghettobooty, I think, had the SSE ducktail at the Bumble Bee cruise and you could see that it was starting to come off the decklid that I don't like. So if I'm gonna do it I'm gonna do it right and bolt the thing down. Did you say that the template I needed is with the ducktail or I need to download it. Without that template it'll be difficult to nail down the places to drill (I can't believe I'm thinking/commited to drilling my deck lid).

Welcome aboard. Like Bill said it's pretty fast paced here, miss a day or sometime an hour and you'll be a couple pages behind.
The template's in the box. Heck why not you may might as well install it there. Bring the drill and any other tools on the install list. BTW-You'll be drilling into your decklid as well as your rear quarter panels. I can't wait I'm getting excited as if it were going on my car.

Oh boy... Leo's getting excited about drilling into Brian's rear decklid.

On a lighter note, you guys need any stuff for this project? Tape, primer, rags, etc?

Actually, I was noticing that...
I was thinking of trying to fill up the whole page but somebody got there first!

I was in New Jersey on business when my wife got the call that her brother in Houston was being taken off life support. So she drove to Houston while flew down there. I should have beaten her there but Delta screwed that one up.
She decided to take the stang. A trip that normally takes 10 hours at about 80 mph all the way… She won't tell me when she got here but I have gotten out of her that she was stopped twice on the way and it was for possibly +90 mph (more like 95) and didn't get ticketed. If that was me I would have been striped searched and hauled off to jail.
On the flip side she REALLY likes the stang… So much so that she is thinking of getting one! She was really impressed with how it handled and how effortlessly it accelerated when she broke out of the pack. Between that and the fact that she only stopped for fuel and could still walk when she got to Houston, so much for the rumor that the seats are uncomfortable.

Sorry to hear that, John. Please pass our condolences to her when the time is right.

Yeah, I'd lay off the Stang questions until she settles back down... or else! (I've seen my wife mad.. not pretty )

You aren't painting a very nice picture there, John.

This **** Oklahoma weather is ****ing me off. We had snow and sub-freezing temps last week, this week sunny and 70° and now tonight we have 90% chance of rain, damaging winds, hail & tornadoes.
If it calms down Sat (supposed to) I will try the CAI/Tune install. Need to get some vid with the new camera.

Daryl, you need to move over to SoCal, all your weather woes will be gone. Today in Long Beach, showers will be tapering off in the morning with a high of a chilly 61 degrees.

What new camera?

As you all know, I've been tossing the idea of the light bar back and forth since I bought the car. Here is another one not made by CDC:

eBay link:

Chuck (Boltzman) just installed one, so I can check it out next weekend. Here is his thread (and more pics):

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=61085

Then, would I get it red?? The piece it touches is charcoal:

EDIT: Definitely charcoal, not red.

Thanks Daryl. Oh, almost forgot, can you run down to the Sooner Pit Stop and pick up a new set of Billy Bob Teeth for me? Heard you guys there in OK got quite the selection!

Nice camera! The picture color saturation on your camera will blow away my 'Point & Shoot'.. just compare the lens size!

I like that light bar. I'd get it in whatever color the panels are (black/charcoal). Red is too much. Then, there's the issue of matching the Crimson.

Bill and his gay jokes. Not sure what Brian does or doesn't have but here's a list of tools needed:
Masking tape
Drop cloth
Hammer
Center Punch
Variable speed drill
7/16" with Socket wrench and extension
3/16" allen wrench
1/8,5/16, and 1/2 drill bits
or
#3 & #10 unibits
Rubbing alcohol

One more important thing make sure you wash you rear before tomorrow.
Bring some "quick detail spray" to do a final wipe down before using the rubbing alcohol.

Tom, when I first saw the light bars I would have said Red all the way, but after seeing that one with the red interior, I would definitely say Black/Charcoal
I really like the look of the light bars on these verts.

I think charcoal, too. I'll still wait to see Chuck's this coming weekend before ordering, though.

Just let me know which set you want. If really interested I can probably find you a girl with REAL Billy Bob Teeth.

Will wash the deck lid just for you....
I've got Zaino and Meguiars quick detail in the truck so that will be no problem.

I will get a chin spoiler and planned on getting it before the ducktail but this deal hit me first. With the C&L, ducktail and a couple other things on order this is all I can do for this go-around. The Chin spoiler, maybe the pre-painted one, will be next and a window Tint.
That will take care of my external mods for the most part. Unless I get stripes. Then again I may just pull the trigger and be the guinea pig for the Steeda UDPs next instead.

So may options, so little money.

+1 I have only seen the charcoal/black light bars and I'm not sure red would go well.

Not sure what Brian does...
We all wonder that. I think we can conclude that not much work is being done.

I have all the 'no's' and ??, except #9? What's a Unibit? Just have to work out a time frame for all 3 of us to be there.

Sorry about the name, I always do that! I have the same problem with teh (the).
