Here's a vid I made from the Saleen pre-cruise 'Meet & Greet'.

Weather is starting to look up around here. Actually got a chance to wash (not hand wash ) my car yesterday, so she looks a TON better. Weather keeps up this weekend, CAI/Bama Tunes are going in
Got my new camera so I need to experiment and take some pics/vids.

I'll be working on the '89 from now until March 3rd getting the lightbar and other functions working the way I want them for the two car shows. The lightbar cord used to run through the driver's side door, but I want it to run through the roof with a quick-disconnect plug (there's already a hole in the roof).

I just ordered this: 9-Function Switch Box

It'll mount right next to the siren under the dash on the passenger side. I'm not 100% sure how it will all hook up, but here are the functions I have to get wired:

5 Rotators (Lightbar)
2 Intersection lights (Lightbar)
2 Take-down Lights (Lightbar)
2 Alley Lights (Lightbar)
2 Rear Flashers (Lightbar)
Wig-Wags and Multi-Pattern (Headlights)
Traffic-Backers (Alternating brake and reverse lights)
2 Blue LED Deck Lights (16 flash patterns)
4 Corner Strobes (9 flash patterns)

Is that 9? Notice the lightbar is just as bulky and loud as it would have been back in '89. Now they are slim, mostly all LEDs, and quiet.

Gotta get movin'... only have a couple hundred feet of wire to run through the car!

Light bar looks cool! Should look like the real deal when you're all complete. Post pics and vids when you're done.

Found out about pioneer's new (for 2007) AVIC-D3. Priced at less than $1000 for a double din screen, iPod interfaced, CD/DVD playback, Navigation, and rear view camera input, it sounds like a winner!

Will be priced at less than $1000 when it's released. My guess is $899 or so.

Not bad at all considering the cost of the avic-2 is still well above $500 on ebay and even more at retail store.

Finally got some new stuff for the hot rod. My DG Custom window louvers came in and my sequential taillights. The 1/4's were a cakewalk. As far as the taillights, the driver side went quick, but the passenger side, having to unbolt the shaker subs was a PIA for a 5 minute change. The only thing left for the exterior is the SHR trunk panel and some slotted and drilled rotors. After that it'll be time to save for the Supercharger.

Congrats looks good. Ha! sucker you actually removed the shaker subs. It took a little more effort but I got it done without removing them.

I've got bigger paws than you. It was quicker to just pull the bolts for the subs, and have easier access than to try and finger @!#$ a wrench to get to two of the nuts.

Got a quote from a local Mustang shop on the 4.10 gears.

The gear swap would run about 450.00 labor plus an installation kit and gears. Gears are about 230.00 and the install kit is around 75.00

It all seems pretty expensive for a little snap in the neck.

Or, will it be money well spent?
