That's fine, but I don't care if the bulbs are "twice as bright" or "super" or an LED. I just want a replacement red bulb.

Anybody know where I can get a regular red bulb?

What's a Japanese "No Fade" bulb? American bulbs fade and Japanese bulbs don't? Bill?

I don't want no Japanese bulbs in my American car!

Those should look great on your car Leo!

Too bad I can't order them for mine. The radiator cover is shaped differently for the GT500.

Which ones will you be getting Leo? The "natural" black plastic or the color matched painted ones?

The $99 option - glossy color matched ones.

These are the ones I'm planning on getting.

At first, I though a set of center matching (OEM color) covers would be best, but after seeing the GO pic, I see that getting the exterior paint match would be best (at least for me).

I wasn't too keen on them before, but after Leo showed me what they'll cover I am very interested to see the installed pics. Might have to make it my first engine appearance mod

Brain, time to update your sig.

Unless you're still considering the Eibach Proline Springs.

Leo, if definitely looks cleaner, but like Bill, I wonder about the bathtub in the back.
If you don't drill a drainage hole will it collect any rain water, etc that makes it under the hood?
How noticeable is the indentation when browsing the engine bay?

I can't blame you Leo, if I could find a way to do it that I liked, I would actually remove the WHOLE shaker shroud that covers the fuel rails and valve covers and just have the scoop attached. Then have the valve covers Powder Coated Vista Blue and the fuel rails to match. But for now it will stay like it is.

Careful for what you wish for.. I've seen one where the scoop itself just sitting on top on the intake and it looks kinda silly.

Thanks. The bath tub is only noticeable when looking at the car from the right. As far as drainage goes there's a whole at the far right side of the "tub".

I'd like to cut all the way around leaving only the shaker and the "Mustang" sills but I'm afraid to cut it since I don't want to have to pay for a replacement shroud if I don't like it. My other idea would be to leave just enough of the plastic and rivet it to the bottom of the hood so that there's no shaker at all when you open the hood.

Do you want to be the test dummy???

***Just got off the phone with CDC and found out a replacement shroud costs $230, a replacement scoop cost's $150, and set of "Mustang" sills is $40.*** Hmmmm....Which means you could technically buy the shaker system in pieces and probably save some dough. Oops did I say that outloud.

I just got off the phone with K&N and found out that the K&N CAI is carb exempt for 05 Stangs. They told me they've already submitted the paperwork for the 06's and are just waiting on approval.
