Yup!!! Stupid Fedex guy just left it on the porch. I really irritates me when they do that.

Well, on 12/20/05 I went to the dealership to order it, and on 12/21/05 it went through.
Here's my DORA (finally!).

Looks like my order anniversary will be coming up on January 16.

Incase you're wondering, X-Plan baby!

You must have signed something sometime. FedEx won't leave anything at your front door unless you sign a waiver telling them to do so. UPS always leaves stuff. I got tired of never being there for FedEx deliveries, so I signed the paper and now they always leave it.

Nope I've never signed anything. For me it's acutally the other way around. Fedex always leaves stuff while UPS always makes me sign for it even if I leave a note.

leo, where did you buy the G2 kit. I want to do the calipers but haven't seen where to buy G2.

My nemesis is the UPS driver. There is a new one and no matter if I leave a note on the door they always leave that sticker notice. Luckily there is a big UPS distribution center about 6 miles from me and I call 'em to will call it the same night, usually.

BTW if anyone is wondering, CDC classic chin spoiler it will be. They seem to go for 225 to 259 or so. I'll probably get the chin spoiler, SSE ducktail and have the rear panel painted instead of the thing I have on there now.

Still it will all have to wait for the CAI and tunes. Going fast is more important than changing the looks.

I got my G2 kit from here.

Are you getting your CDC chin spoiler unpainted or painted? Eitherway this is where I got mine and they have the best price I've seen for either one.

Should I tell Brian how much I paid for my CDC Classic?

I'm sure he'll feel all warm and fuzzy forking over $225+.

Cool. I've been checking out the rotorpros as well and may do them all at the same time...

CDC -- unpainted so I can paint to match

I think I saw somewhere that you paid like 150 for it ... I don't think I'll be as lucky.

Habu-What color do you plan on getting the rotor hubs painted?

Well, since you replied...

I picked it up for $50. My local Paint & Body shop charged me $130 to paint it. $180 total for my CDC!

Dubh means BLACK in Gaelic (which I believe is the language of the Celts), right John?

Isn't that common knowledge, Bill?

Dubh is the Gaelic word for black and is pronounced “dueâ€. Gaelic, for those who don't know is the language of the Celts. Since I'm Irish and play the pipes and the car is black I thought it was appropriate.
BTW the GTA mufflers are sounding good, they have deepened nicely.
And the wife has green lighted me for a Steeda shifter.

Ya mean it isn't? I thought everyone new that!

My step son said "who's gonna know what that means?" And I said "ME!" Who else counts? With some of the tags you have to wonder... Me and my piping buddies will know!

Celts? Gaelic?

Guys, my origin is from the Land of the Rising Sun. We would call it "Kuroi".

_____________

Going to get the Tri-Ax shifter?
I think Brian installed the Hurst. Not really sure what the difference between all of them are.

I think that's awfully cool Granted I had no idea what the heck it meant and I was leaning towards the dub definition that alot of people use nowadays (god I sound like my dad... "Dam kids, get off my lawn") Anyway, back on track. I remember reading something of Gaelic heroes and some tradition. I liked it but it was a long time ago and I barely remember any. Still cool stuff.

As for my ancestors, well we'd either be making beer or trying to takeover Europe.

CDC Chaker topic...

I was talking to Fred of Evolution Performance and he was saying that the big drawback to going the CDC shaker route is that you can't modify your air intake then. Not to mention that his dyno numbers show zero net gain in HP...
