I was going to tell you the same thing that Leo said, but Chuck's Motorcycle made me forget!
Thanks for your opinion. So far 2 nays.

Also, I'll close the doors and then disconnect the battery. Then when I open the doors, the windows will be all the way up.
You can just 'trick' the windows instead of disconnecting the battery.
When the door's open, manually engage the door lock mechanism. I think you use the key to unlock it when done.

Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?
I never heard of that. But I just tried it and it didn't work. Manually push the lock button? Or manually push down the locking pin?

The locking hook on the side of the door.

My tint installer did this to raise the windows all the way up when the doors were open.

Oh... got it! Nothing would reset the hook at first - I kinda got scared - how will I close the door?

The door handle resets it when you open it from outside.

Just got back from my local dealership where I picked up and attempted to install the GT500 mudflaps. Bad news is those mudflaps only work with the GT500 or the C/S. Good news is I got my money back. So just thought I'd let everyone know that if your thinking of mudflaps you'll have go with the ugly ones shown in the Ford accessories catalog.

Question about weight diff.

Does anybody know the weight difference between..
Stock springs and Steeda Ultralites
Stock rotors and Rotorpros

--------------------------------------
I'm thinking of only changing out the rear springs if and once this deal goes through. My reasoning is it would lower the backend which is what really stands out and I'd keep the ground clearance in the rear. Do you guys forsee any problems with me going this route? The only negative thing I can think of is that I'll lose the raked stance.

Not much, if any. Less material on the Ultra Lites so they might be less.
Stock rotors and Rotorpros
Same as above, not much... maybe less for the RotorPros because of the holes??

Yes - the nose will be high. The rear has to come down 3/4" to equal out to the front and the rear Ultra Lites lower the rear 1 1/4".
The only negative thing I can think of is that I'll lose the raked stance.
That's a positive thing. Raked stances are so 80's.

Wow I figured if anyone knew the weight difference it would be you. I'm disappointed in you Tom. Your slacking in your analness.

I actually like the raked stance the car has now.

Then install all 4 Ultra Lite springs. The front will come down close to 7/8" and the back 1 1/4". The difference is less than 3/4", so there will still be some rake.

You know what else is "so 80's"? Simon and Simon

I used to hate that show and for some reason I now love it! It's on every day now so I'll get to see all 8 seasons. AND, it was filmed in San Diego.

Here's some pics of my Moleskin installed:

Attachment 16062 Attachment 16063 Attachment 16064

Like I told Bill, now I'll leave them out until I tint the windows. With the channels out, it'll be VERY easy to slide the tint down. And since our windows don't have full frames there will be no tucking needed into the sides and top.

Also, I'll close the doors and then disconnect the battery. Then when I open the doors, the windows will be all the way up.

As far as the rear window, I'll do that last. I'll have the top down to do the other 4 windows, and obviously the top has to be up to do the rear window. The only problem I see for the rear window is actually getting to it. My rear seats don't fold down to make any extra room.

Now I just need the tint to get here! It's ok, though... not having the tint gave me plenty of time to take my time on the moleskin. All the channels are warming in the sun to really give the sticky side a chance to adhere good.
Sure blame it on me...You're getting alzhiemers bill i'm gonna say nay on the halo's Thanks for the compliments on the bike..I promise to be careful
