Ponies on The Run!
Yeah. Big mistake! My Hurst shifter is here, and she won't let me have it till Christmas day. Soooooooooo, looks like it's up all night Christmas eve, for the disassemble and prep. It WILL be in on the 25th!!
Oh man that'd be tourture. Having to wait to put a cool new part on the car, argh.
I don't know if you got any but the ratcheting wrenches from Craftsman will help a good deal when you're installing the shifter. Primarily for the front bolt. I know a set is on my list for Christmas for that one reason !!!

Thanks.
I'm asking the wife for anything and everything on my future mod list. Although she told me yesterday she wasn't getting me anything Mustang related.
She said it would be something I've always wanted for the garage.
Except for tools I can't possibly think of anything I'd want in the garage except another Mustang.

One of my best friends has a lift that he lets me use if I want (I almost never do).
His last garage had a pit, but he says they are a pain to clean and you don't need one with a 20ft. high garage and a lift.

A little off topic, but of use to those with the SCT II devices....
Today I was within hours of selling my 97 Mercury Sable (187K Miles) when it through a code of P1518. According to what I am reading online, it would mean the Intake Manifold Runner Control is stuck open. Probably due to me getting on it a bit recently. I had my buddy reset the code and I am ready to dump her. The read on it doesn't sound that serious. You folks who deal with these computer modules....what do you think the odds that it will throw that code again?...
Here's a writeup that I found on that code...

Must.Be.Nice... I wouldn't complain if I had either one of those.
Don't really feel like going into great lengths since it's not Mustang related but Christmas came early for me. The wife got me the exact same flat panel plasma Bill got. She got it at Walmart for $1294. It was the last one in that store.
Needless to say I'm very happy. Although now I have no clue how to match or top that gift.
Looks like you can order it online if you don't mind getting it untill after X-mas.

That's awesome! I absolutely dig my 42" Panny.
Of course you know, the purchasing doesn't stop there. To get the most bang for the buck on a HD TV, you'll need at the minimum an Upconvert DVD Player (I have this one) or at a premium, a HD DVD (or Blue Ray) Player.
And don't forget about buying a HDMI cable to hook it up with (or at the minimum, an analog component cable).
You'll also need to upgrade your cable or satellite receiver to a HD receiver (in order to receive HD programming). Most all of these new HD receivers will utilize a HDMI cable or at least component cables (minimum requirement for HD).
Confused yet?
Good! I was a couple weeks ago.
And to keep it Mustang releated, here's a 'cold start' video. It takes less than a minute for it to settle down to a 'quiet' idle. But before it does, it sounds euphoric.

I'd get 87P, 91P, and 91R. Of course, you'll end up just using the 91R like the rest of us. I'm only suggesting the 87 if you're ever stuck in some boonie gas station that only has regular.
Oh, yeah... I didn't notice you had 89P. I would get the 87P, too.
