If Leo installs a few more mods (Steeda Ultralites ), he'll get bumped up to my Modified Class for sure. Then it'll boil down to who likes red or black, with or without stripes.

As far as what Wii means... who knows, but it's more interesting than 'Revolution', it's former 'would be' name.

Thanks Chuck. I'll try and stay out of Bill's class if possible.

From my understanding they chose Wii because the two ii together resemble to people playing together and blah blah blah. Atleast that's what I read.

Man you are a softy. I dig the the before and after pics. If I didn't say it, CONGRATS on the first place!!. I agree that the trophies shouldn't be brought out like the one next yours was. Lambo doors... arrgh. Then there was the red, 65/66, that was beautiful... but it had LAMBO doors WTF

I called two other places, including the one in orange I think you recommended before for the tint and they knew about putting something on the doors to prevent scratching. Dunno if it's moleskin, otherwise getting in on the group-buy is a great idea.

I am a softy! I always tell Chris, be a good person, show respect to your parents and elders, and do good at school, if you do all 3, I'll take care of you (with cool stuff).

Thanks for the congrats!

I have to e-mail Classic Tint and tell them of my Velcro experience and see if they'll swich over to the Moleskin. It can only benefit them.

My advise? Order the Moleskin kit and intall it yourself. Have the peace of mind that it was done right.

It was in the low 50's. It's all relative.. we were all dressed like SoCal people (seatshirts, some in shorts, light jackets, cheap sleeping bags, ultra thin blankets, etc.) and staying outside in that temp is freezing!

Hey I said I want to stay out of your class. Although someday we just might be.

That's what my wife tells me.

That should be "Bill and I".

Hey! No wonder you didn't get 1st place, Leo... you didn't open your fuel door!

Hey, I forgot all about that fuel door trick!

I guess I can start an arguement against that theory.

You should have opened it... you would have gotten Best of Show for sure!

Sorry, Leo, just kidding around. I can see how it would draw attention to your car - as in that guy is - but I don't see how it can affect the judging.

Funny you should bring up 'Best of Show'... We all had to vote for one, so I asked Chris what's the best looking car here and I'll put down whichever one he picks. He picked ours.

If I would've opened up the fuel door, my luck would've been to have some carless guy walk right into it, tearing it off the hinges! I think I'll pass on this 'hot tip'.

Just ordered moleskin, thanks for the tip on the group-buy. I'm dragging my feet for the tint, but I know I'm gonna have to get it tinted soon.

No prob... glad I saw the link, too. I'm dragging my feet, too.

I'll get it tinted, then during the 3 days that you can't roll down the windows, I'll install the moleskin. I may even remove the channel before taking the car to get it tinted - should make it easier for them to get the tint on without the rubber swiper in the way.

It's about time you two get your windows tinted. You guys look like Goldfish in a fishbowl!

FYI- It helps to have the window all the way down to pop the door panel and access the wiper channel. Personally, I would install the Moleskin before taking it in for tinting. Why try and work around a freshly tinted window and take a chance of scratching it. Also, you may need to roll it up and down for whatever reason.

There... I added something. You guys never told me when you changed your struts to shocks.

The moleskin won't hinder them when tinting? Or make it more difficult to tint? I mean when they have to slide the tint down the window far because the window comes down when the door opens...
