Make sure you understand everything about offset before ordering. 38mm is perfect for the 2005+ Mustangs. Also know what tires you want. 18x9 is perfect for 255mm wide tires.

I think Deep Dish rims look strange. These are the same rims only they are Deep Dish on the left:

I really perfer the way fords making them now. For example check out Bills. The spokes on his look taller and less curved than the previous ones.

 

Not a big fan got the gt500 wheels. I know I know they have the retro look from back in the day but still.

Well now that I brought up lights I've always wondered why Darly got the DRL's. I wasn't around when he got them so I'm curious.

Only on Chevys. You can have the DRL module turn your horn on if you want. Plus, the driving lights being on when driving looks a hellavuh lot cooler than the stupid front parking lights.

No insurance discount (for me, anyway). Here's why: When you are driving during the day and turn on your lights, the radio and instrument cluster dim. They get very hard to see (especially with the top down, in my case). This way, the driving lights turn on automatically at about 80% power without affecting the radio or instrument cluster. When you turn on your parking lights and/or your headlights, the module turns off the driving lights and they operate normally with the light switch at 100% power. As far as safety goes, people never pull out in front of me anymore. They see lights coming and think twice before pulling out.

Actually, I'm not sure if Daryl (or as you say, Darly) did it because I did it, or not. I know he did it right after I did, but he may have had the idea already.

Next, I'm going to re-wire the driving lights so they stay on when you flash (or turn on) your high-beams... Any body else interested in knowing how to do this? I haven't figured it out, yet, but I'll look through the wiring diagrams.

No really, I think the DRLs are cool, especially the way Tom described the functionality above. Maybe that warrants a bookmark?
