And a little late in the day from your earlier post...

OK, I've washed the car. My only stumbling block for C&C and meeting George at 6 AM is to get my pickle tickled tonight ('cuz its gonna be a looooooong time before the next one when she finds out), then wake the kids and get them into the freezing car at 5:45...

"freezing car" eh? We got 1" of ICE earlier today; not rain or snow but ICE. Your idea of freezing must be, what, 55*?

It's supposed to 37 by 6 AM and while we're not as cold as where you are, it's cold for us. And since we don't normally buy winter coats, it's gonna be especially cold for a certain little five year old girl...

Go to Target, get the Mr. Clean gizmo, rinse it off...then just let it ice up! No need to wipe!

I know for a fact that George was a bad motherf*cker back in the day. The stories he told me shocked me enough, and he probably sugarcoated them.

It's a jet engine and it's power is just starting at an 1/8th mile. Take it to the salt flats and it'll be the fastest minivan on earth.

On board a C-17 from Kuwait to Iraq. (You probably helped build this one Bill.)

Ignore the bowl cut.
Let me guess.. cleaning the bolt carrier? Those stupid gas rings are a PITA.

C-17.. very good chance I either worked on it or inspected parts of it.

Bowl cut.. you look like the Jack in the Box due with the Teriyaki Bowl cut.

Oil change complete.

Nothing special to report, oil looked clean, nothing mixed in with it as far as I could see.

My new filter location is a PITA for oil drips, it goes everywhere!

Total miles on car is now 4154, but I have to remember to keep subtracting 3000 for the old motor. So my next oil change will be at around 6500 miles or so.

Thanks Tom. I'm slowly breaking in Chris on some car maintenance 'how-to's' so he should be ready to go by the time he's 16.

Man sorry to hear about that. I know a lot of people have been hit hard and I hope you're able to get power and heat soon.

SO check this out....

Don't have a video camera and it certainly isn't TacoBill good, but it's what I got.. Leo & I at Barona.
