Dude, it ain't nooooo fun for two days afterwards...and I did it twice. I was in Japan then attending the Toyota Automotive School (don't ask). When a guy turned 18, it was a custom to go to the nearest sushi place with the goal of having 18 of those little warmed bottles of sake in front of you - empty - by the time you finished. There are 18 of those bottles in one big bottle! No sh_t.

Just for fun here's some pics from Iraq and Japan.

Site of a field excerise in Japan. Pretty cool camping out on the beach for a week straight. The tent furthest out in the second pic was mine. I woke up the first morning shocked to find I was essentially on an Island. If you look closely you can see how high the water had gotten.


Cleaning a part of my rifle on a commericial airliner on the way to Iraq.


On board a C-17 from Kuwait to Iraq. (You probably helped build this one Bill.)


Look at this pic closely you can see where a tank round when through about 4 buildings.


Iraqi Army's humvees.


About to board helo to another base.


Convoy from one base to another.


Just for fun the only pic me and the wife have of both of us in uniform. This was at our house in Hawaii. (Only pic and it's blury.) Ignore the bowl cut.
