Bad news.. Springs will be a no-go. I've decided to keep my Ultralites and will be selling off the Pro kit.

btw Ray, how much did I offer to sell the pulleys for?
(better not lowball me either!)
No springs?! Just for that I think you quoted me $30 for the UDP.

Ok... I think you quoted me $100 (minus the real TMS discount )

Happy 2 year ownership Ray

*Psst!* (Low ball him Ray ) I thought it was $90?

Jon - this is the end of the line for me. No one else has anything I would want... except a blower

Go-mods left: Driveshaft and that's it? Nothing really left to bolt-on right?

I have a couple of things I want to do looks/underhood but that's about it. Blower is a long-term goal.

Non-Socal guys

I'll lower the D-Specs to $475 for you guys as well. As long as you commit before Friday. Reason being Tillman won't be shipping them out till then and I could just have him direct ship it to you saving me shipping costs.

Ray- When do you want to do the install? Yours is an Auto right? ()
Your TMS good guy discount is a free brand new Ford crank bolt (which is recommended everytime you install the crank pulley, but now I'm like ehh.. mines been yanked off 2x, probably still the same bolt ) and help with the install... and being an Auto, it's a PITA.
I think this may qualify for a mini-install party, so this may also include you springing for pizza.

Fly- Never make a list of 'mods left to do', it's an endless list no matter how you think of it now.

I'll check my calendar and let you know. I've got some extremely busy weekends coming up.

Is it that much more difficult than for a manual install?

You had bought me a new crank bolt way back when. Remind me again, what gains should I expect and will I need a new tune?

Pizza's cool.

The second I found somewhere else.

Now noticeably the second picture is much better. Is it just a function of the 75mm focal length or what ?? What am I missing ?

Looking at the Exif the pics are similar the second has a 75 focal length and a Fstop of 13. Mine is 27 and 11. I only have the kit 17-55mm lens. If I would have gone to full telephoto I still couldn't have gotten the QM in the background like this had.... Is it time to step up ?? Problem is I can't really get a "L" lens... gotta spend money on the car ya know. Still what should I look for/get ? That and perhaps we took the pics at a completely different time but is it a filter that gives it that better color ?? The sky is washed out in my pics but it's brilliantly blue in the second one ??
Isn't that amazing, the difference between the two photos! The reason the QM look so much larger in the second photo is called compression. That's obtained with longer telephoto lenses. The difference with the sky colors is probably a combination of things... exposure, lens quality, time of day and it looks like in the first photo you were shooting towards the sun and may have gotten some sun on your lens.

During the step of tightening the crank bolt, the Manual trans can be put in 4th gear to lock the driveline so you can achieve the necessary torque on that bolt. On the Auto trans, you have to pop this rubber plug to access one of the flywheel bolts and have someone try and hold a wrench on it while the other tries to torque the crank bolt.. not easy.

To be honest, you won't feel much (if any) gains at all, maybe it'll rev up in neutral a little quicker. Any more than that will mostly likely be a Placebo effect.

However, when done with other mods (CMDP's, CAI, DS, gears, O/R pipe, etc), the gains are more realized.

To echo Leo, no tune needed.

With all that stuff, I'm guessing you'll see upwards of 300 rwhp, but really not anymore. But that's just numbers, the SOTP will be ..... and once you get a 1-pc DS and gears.. .

To add further...
UDP's don't add any additional hp, it only frees up hp that was taken away from the factory pulley drive system.

Crunching numbers on Gauges to see what the whole set up costs and it's not pretty.

A Wideband AF, Boost/Vac, and Fuel Pressure run about $675
SOS Pillar Pod $139
Install ????

Can't believe it's close to 1k for some dam gauges.

So much for trying to get those in at the same time as the SC.

It's the wideband that's killing your budget.

If you can live with an 'idiot light' set up of a narrowband (like me ), it'll be way cheaper.
