Randall didn't seem to thing it was a problem just that you had to be careful on the edges. I know you're a Zaino guy, the stuff rocks, there is some sort of new Adam's thing that is made just for polishing vinyl. I was supposed to have mine done by Randall in Oct but since I was in Pismo at the time I couldn't do it.

Leo's going with ST. And you're right, no matter which ever of those 2 shops (even GTR), you really can't go wrong. There's only one specific shop that's local to me that I do not recommend.

I know my car hasn't really been exposed too much to the outside environment, but the last time I polished it was sometime at the end of summer 07. And the **** still beads like no one's bidness!

I would like to check out your SC on Friday if time permits.
In a perfect world I'd like to get the car back around mid-day but that's wishful thinking. Not sure if I'm staying down in Hawthorne Friday night. If I am than I'll drive it over to your place or Kev's on Saturday. If not though I might just head back to SD straight from ST. I'll know more as we get closer to the install date.
Hey Bill what's with the RET smiley on your avatar? Is a windshield banner next.

Brian-Like Bill already stated I decided to go with ST.

Oh yeah it's great stuff no doubt. a year plus between waxing ain't nothing to complain about. I think I waxed mine just before Fab Fords I just want to get rid of the spiderwebs that I have.

Luckly I don't have to worry about that because mine are painted. Honestly yes that's a concern, you can always go manual around the strips just to be safe.

Jonco, were you there? I think I saw your car but since I've never seen it up close I'm not positive. I went buy the one I thought was yours a couple different times but nobody was immediately around it so I didn't get to meet you if it was yours.
Yeah I was there. I looked for your car but I never saw it? I asked some of the other forum guys if they'd seen your mustang and nothing. You prolly walked by when I was in MOSI. I toured the place for over an hour and then I walked around the place looking and talking.

There's another show in Brandon, Jack Roush show at Brandon Ford. If you go to the regional threads you'll see a thread about it and all the details. Its a Thursday night. I'm looking into going to that one also.

Bill, what's with the blue painters tape on the hood lines in your pre-wash pictures? Are you waiting until after the dyno-tune to throw on the shaker?

Wow... another local up for the vote. Congrats and good luck Brian!

It's not quite the same without Jed taking the pictures though.

(Brian, close your ears)
Tape is to keep out water from entering the engine bay (or at least minimize it) when washing the car.

I do have the Shaker back on, can see it in place in the pics below the pre-wash one.

In that case never. Unless there's money going into my pocket I would never put a company name on my car.
