Tuners outdoorsman shooting fair

Took the wile and kids to the shooting fair on Friday, it was a lot of fun, all the manufacturers were there and you could test all their 08 product line. You could also shoot machine guns, uzi's ect.

Here's a few pics taken by my daughter Caitlin....

A few shots of countryside..

me trying out a S&W M&P .45

firing a SOCOM M1A .308

Machine gun fun

The wife and kids enjoyed some shooting and fishing..

Walked out with ten pounds of product materials and catalogs

Hey Bill got you a glock catalog and glock annual magazine

Luis- Cool video!

George- I like the Terminators!
Makes me want to go out and buy a used 03/04 hardtop! Any difference between the 03 & 04?

Nice pics from the Turners shoot. Looks like y'all had a blast out there. Thanks for the Glock stuff too.

they made twice as many 03 than 04, 04 had a option of different color of seat inserts, and most have the updated heads(cooling fix) but they are really identical

Tom we need pics or it didn't happen....

j/k
Congrats !

Luis Looks great. I like it.

George
Looks like that was a blast! Terminators are Badd_A**ed. They're my favorite SN95s or New-Edge or whatever they're called.

Was going to install the prothanes today, but got way sidetracked helping dad paint. What a pain. Granted he does have an airless sprayer, still it's a lot of work. Think I'll install then Saturday before the Brea show. If not it won't happen until sometime in July.

George-Looks like we missed out. It's cool though as it looks like it turned into a family outing.

Terminators.

Lakers lost again tonight. I thought they almost had it at the end to.

Another good story! (kinda)

A Charger with a 5.7L Hemi pulled up next to me at a light and when it turned green, he floored it and pulled away from me hard. At the next light I pulled up next to him and when it turned green, I wasn't going to do anything, but he floored it again.

So, I figured what the hell. I shifted to 2nd, floored it, caught him pretty easily... shifted to 3rd while blowing off in his door, and pulled away from him.

Then he got behind me and pulled me over.

I was framed!

I got a ticket for 80 in a 45. When it was all done he asked me what I had in the car and I told him... he was really cool about it, but I'm surprised he wasn't more upset that I beat him!

I told him he got me thinking at the first light, and when he did it again at the second light he just got the best of me. He said he was going after another car... bullcrap! With no lights or siren... and stopping at the second light?? Sounds more like border line entrapment.

Whatcha gonna do?

Court date pending....

That was ,sorry that happened man. 10 more mph and he probably would've hit you with wreckless driving.

Or street racing. So now I have to go in front of this judge and explain why I was going 80 in a 45 without making it sound like I was racing the cop. hmmmmm

The first court date, the cop won't be there. I tell my story and the judge gives out a fine. I can take it or leave it. If I leave it, a second court date will be set with the cop. Then, if the stories don't match, it gets ugly. If I take it, then that's that and it's all over with.

He said with my driving record, and if I plead guilty, my fine will be somewhere around $150. He also said, he's seen people turn down that $150... come back for the second court date, and have it raised to $500 or $1000.

More BS that I forgot to mention:

After the first light, he pulled over in front of me. Then, when the second light turned red, he moved over a lane (even though the lane he was in was empty) so that I would have a free lane to pull up next to him.

Plus, when the second light turned green, there were ZERO cars ahead of us on the road (it was midnight)... so where was this car he was after?

BS +5. I guess take the better of two evils on the fine. I hope other agencies don't take this approach. Being challenged like that brings the "Killer Bee" instinct out in all of us

Is that even legal? The cop was breaking the law, enticing you to do the same. I would fight that **** personally. God that **** makes me mad

My neighbor across the street is THE sheriff. I'm going to ask him for advice on how to approach the judge, and in doing so I will have to tell him the story of what happened. I'll see what he says about it. I won't ask him to "do anything", but I don't think he'll like that his guys are out there making those challenges and enticing people.

BTW... Hey Daryl!
