so I'm thinking about getting one of these...anyone here had one? Anything I should be one the lookout for. The only two things I dont like about the car are the gauges and the seats...gauges look a bit cluttered, and the seats are quite busy...but those can be changed

Took two of them for test drives before I bought my '06 vert. As much as I wanted one, the interior felt waaaay too cramped for a guy my size (6'2"/250). 
The major plus was the price - I found a couple that had around 50K miles for about $12K. That ain't bad for a 4V!
Even saw a yellow '04 Mach today while Xmas shopping and they still make me

I figure, I've always wanted one...I can certaintly manipulate the seat brackets if I have to, and I'm not going to feel small driving anything, so wtf?

Looks great Ray. Like Bill said now time change the wheels. Just throwing this out there but have you considered getting the stripes painted? I know it costs money but hey your a Shelby owner.
It's nice. A lot smaller but okay. Only real complaints are not having a garage and only being able to grill with a propane BBQ.
