Unhappy need some help

i have a 1995 4.6ltr mustang gt recently replace the solenoid canister
i removed the battery cable to do this job after placing the part tried to start is
then it shuts down seconds later any advice

bad alternator? Check the charging system would be my GUESS

Automatic or manual transmission? What was the original problem to make you want to change the starter solenoid?

scanner gave a 1443 code

Did you make sure you installed the solenoid hose connections in the proper direction. The plastic tube closest to the solenoid body should have the charcoal canister hose on it. Also make sure all of the vacuum hoses are in good shape.

The he check engine came on so I scanned it and gave me a code 1440 I checked at the internet and the recommendation was to replace the solenoid I will check the position I installed it and get back to you
