My (NOS) New Old Stand
My (NOS) New Old Stand
Hey Everyone, Just bought myself a nice little 66 convertible from Carlisle, needs a good amount of work but at least I am able to drive it and enjoy it right now. Mainly cosmetic needs to the paint and interior I am saving up my money to do it the right way!
What should I do first to this car to make an immediate impact? was thinking new caps on the wheels until I can afford actual rims for it. Tires arent bad but the existing caps suck bad. any other thoughts to just give the illusion to me and people who see me drive by the idea this is a nice old stang? will post pics as soon as I get some hubs on er

Owning a classic is a joy, and at times a challenge. If the brakes (a must) need help I would say go there first before going to cosmetics. If they are good, then yes I think new caps would be good step. It's usually a long drawn out process to restore one, but well worth it in the end. Congratulation on the '66. Looking forward to pics.
