Same for my dad. He passed all the tests to be a fighter pilot, but couldn't pass the eye exams, and didn't want to fly otherwise.

Anyone know if they accept Lasik surgery patients for flying now? I would think it woulnd't be any different than if you had perfect vision to start with, but I'm curious.

I dont think they could tell if you had lasik, so that would probably work. But most eye doctors recommend waiting until late 20's to get the surgery so your vision wont change much after that age

Nathan, make sure you turn the surround sound on if you watch it. Definitely better that way

I was short of 20/20 by literally a couple of letters. It killed me for weeks. I think my prescription now is -.75 and -1.25. It was better than that 25 years ago. What's ironic is that my wife has her instrument license and can't see a thing without her glasses. She jokes about using them for weight training, they're so thick.

I'm blind without contacts. I still have a set of glasses for late nights that the lenses are about as thick as my iPhone 5 lol....

Agreed, it's pretty soothing to have a hot shower. I stayed in a hotel one time that had like quad shower heads, it's was epic!

I was trying to register for another forum (not mustang related) and I was getting pissed because my username was not available. Like who in the **** is going around using the username I created back in 2007 on this site.

So then I think ah what the hell and logged in with my usual password and bingo!

It was me. I registered back in 2011 and didn't even remember I'd ever been to this site.
