I know you'll ignore me but I'll say it again. Cinnamon oil on the throat like NOW! Health shop or hippie shop has it. Organic grade is best. I haven't been sick since 98 or 96 I forget its been so long. But I've had close calls and killed the bacteria/virus every time within 24-48 hrs before it actually took hold. Spice traders lived through the plague with it. (And I'm a career coffee/tea/spice salesman so I know ****! lol)

We don't have any head shops around here. The best I can do is a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.

What's that health chain, GNC? Even our little town has one of those. In fact all our nat'l grocery chains have a health section that has oils.
I don't think head/bong shops would have it but hippie type health shops? You know all that organic crap?

There's always the schmoogle and UPS (assuming that 11shelbygt500 guy would actually deliver it undamaged. )

I think we have a GNC in the mall. It couldn't hurt.

Got another quote for tint...starts at $269 and the darkest they'll go is 50%. The 1.5 hour drive for $170 is sounding quite a bit better...

Speaking of drives, I had to drive my grandma an hours north of here to meet her sister. Got the whole drive back to myself with the windows down and blasting Brad Paisley's new CD.
Oh, and she called the GT cute...should I be worried?

Just drive to the ghetto and get it done right. Make a 9:00 am appointment while the thugs are still sleeping.

So your granny thinks your Stang is cute. I think you need more horsepower and more decibels. My granny won't go near my ^car. She's dead of course, but her ghost won't go near it either. It's definitely not cute.

Well, the 1.5 hours drive gets the best reviews I've seen, and is recommended by all the local mustang owners. One stupid thing about living up here is there isn't the need for tint like there is in the south, so prices are a lot higher.

Well, I could have shown her what the car is made of, but I didn't want to break her neck.

Youda man!

Hey I've been meaning to tell you... you know how Hughes sometimes hangs? You hit enter and it starts to load and the page just sits there like it lost the signal? After a second or two of that, I'll open 3 sometimes 5 tabs - boom boom boom, and suddenly that 'bumps' the hanging page so it loads promptly. Have you tried that?

Quick video of the minneapolis tornado. Only supposed to be an EF2, despite it's size. They said it was on the ground for fourteen miles, though it weakened quite a bit after it made it's way north/northeast (mostly just branches and the oddball tree down, but along a very confined path on the northern end).

Here's a question for you tornado experts.
Growing up as a kid in Big Mo, they always said to leave some windows open when a tornado was close so it would 'equalize' the pressure in your house. Because a twister's updraft creats a suction, a vacuum - but a house with closed windows still has some internal atmospheric pressure (in the context of a tornado's vacuum suddenly upon it). My sister said they don't say that anymore.
But I see all these pics of houses (the ones not entirely sucked away) that have holes in their roofs, roofs gone, and the windows blown (sucked) out. The hosp in Janis Joplin MO were all blown (sucked) out.
Doesn't that show that if some windows were open that it would have 'equalized' the pressure and caused a little less damage?? Left a few roofs and windows intact??
What is the 'expert' advice these days?

What they've been saying here since the disaster is that its a non issue. Don't open windows, doors, etc. Just get the F away from all of them to a basement, smallest interior room away from any exterior walls, etc.

Ya, I've heard them say don't waste your time with it cause they'll probably just get blown out by the debris anyways. Plus you should be somewhere safe AWAY from windows.
