Jim! Glad you got the FR500's installed today and pleased with how great they sound on your "07" GT... Also curious about the condition of the FR500's... Hopefully, there was very little to no cosmetic blemishes due from the previous owner? Meanwhile, congrats and thanks for following up brother

I know right. Something I should have done when I sold my '06, but nooooooooooooooo, my big old dumb head didn't think a thing about it. Who'ed a thunk Ford Racing would have discontinued them?
BTW that's the third time I changed exhaust on the car since I bought it last month. I'm gettin' to old for that chit........

None of us are mind readers nor have crystal ***** for predicting the future, as I didn't know either, otherwise, I would had purchased the FR500S exhaust before it was too late... Anyhow, we all learn from our mistakes.. In the end, what matters most, is you were able to come across a pair of pre-owned FR500S axle-backs that were taken very good care of by the previous owner, and now you once again have the perfect sounding axle-back mufflers for your 2007 GT

Yeah, I think wanted33 has all the exhaust videos out there. He helped me with my exhaust recently (GT500 axle back) with this video. I was stomping on it a bit today in the higher RPM range in the clean cold mountain air. MAN, that sound is sweet!

BTW, I thought about installing them myself. But when I watched a video of the installation, I took it right to the muffler shop. The difference in the sound between the 4.6L 3 valve, and the 5.0L Coyote in amazing. I can just hear one, and tell what motor it's coming from.
