I got alittle nervous this morning
I went into my favorite coffee shop this morning and noticed acouple of our local finest (police) enjoying a cup. I ordered my coffee to go and just as I got into my car (just outside the front door) and started it up they walked outside. One of them pointed toward the front of my car (no license plate) and said "nice car" and actually gave me a
up. Sometimes being an old fart has it's benefits.

Glad that's all they said.

My son has been missing his front plate for six months now.
He's been stopped three times and fix-it ticketed for various offenses.
One of which was a headlight out, so I know they saw the front of the car.
He has yet to be ticketed for the missing front plate.
When I had my '69, the first time I parked it on the street I got zapped for no front plate. And then stopped twice more before I could get a replacement.
Some people have all the luck.

It's because people spend so much more time looking at a 69 than some new car...
You drink coffee in your car?

whew
Good thing it was
instead of
It is a good looking car. I've always believed that if they're gonna hit you for a front plate, they're already in a bad mood or you put them in a bad mood.
Now I'll probably go out tomorrow and get popped.

Rich, the reason why you didn't get written up was because of your new wheels.

Shoot, I got my license in '91 and haven't had a front plate- never have been ticketed.
Oh wait, we don't have to have front plates here in Cornville.
Makes me miss my home state of Michigan, no front plate nonsense to worry about there either. What are they going to do, pull you over from the front?? If you're in an accident, it's not like they don't have time to look... I have yet to see some real discernible reason for why a front plate that helps a cop. Hence why some states don't have them.
And I agree, you have a very nice car! And your old roush scoop looks good on Hatchman's car too.
