How to take double sided tape off

Want to take off my spoiler and when I took it off there was the double sided tape to help keep the spoiler on, what is the best and safest way to remove it?

You can use paint thinner for automotive paints and also I believe gas does the trick too.

heat from a hair dryer wil soften it up. you can get most of it off by rollong it with your finger, then I used WD40 on a cloth. WD40 works pretty good on alot of adhesives. When I took off my side door moldings and emblems I used heat and thin fshing line to cut the double sided tape and the WD40 cleaned the rest of the glue off. I would think the paint thinner would work also.

3M adhesive remover to soften it up, then use GooGone for the final clean-up.

I also heard these pinstripe removal wheels work great.
