I drive the wheels off of it until the snow flies. Then it's garage time.

Interestingly, my '06 was bought by me just in April. I had an '07 V6 Tungsten Grey Pony new but, a jerk distracted by his phone rear ended me with his 2010 F150 and sent me to physical therapy and pain for the last months or so. It was totaled. The tab for the repairs would have been over $8,250.

The Tungsten '07 V6 rarely saw a garage in the 8 years I had her. But, you could tell. The body had some paint fade and dents and the black rocker panels were faded grey. This picture of me and Whinnie was taken a week and a half before the accident that totaled her. It was the 8 year mark of ownership. March 27. And the accident was April 4.

This is the most recent pic I have before the accident. I had just bought one new tire and gotten it aligned the day before.

And, two weeks before the accident, I had just gotten this front fender dent fixed ($450).

The Redfire '06 I purchased from a guy who did have a garage. But, it was originally a Texas car. It saw the heat and the moisture. But, the trim was not faded like Whinnie was. The paint is in better condition, too.

year round daily driver here. I did go a few winters driving a beater but realized I would rather be driving the mustang.

Not only is it my daily driver, but it's my second daily driven Mustang. Drove the first for 10 years every day. :-)

I drive mine daily when the weather is good. I've put 30,000 km in just over 2 years of ownership. I use my pickup when taking Tag for a ride or weather sucks.

I'm in the same boat. Daily Driver here, and love it. Drive her in the Winter too. Wish I didnt have to do that one, however, this winter will be a little different. My Daughter (3rd driver) in 3rd car will be off to College. Empty nesters, so I'll be driving "her car", a 2010 Fusion when the weather is snow and ice. As long as the roads are clear I'll drive the Stang. Makes great power on 0 degree days, if I could only get the tires to hook up.

Sweet guys! Yeah! I love the fact that we can drive our Mustangs everyday! Even in my 8 years of daily driving, I only put on 78,000 on my grey '07 since new. But, my '06 replacement has only 74,000 miles and it's a year older.

Our Mustang is for pleasure in fair weather and has under 30K, it sits in a carport with a car cover on it and another car behind it to block any wind that might move the cover off.

I love that Blue there.

wow that's not much different than me. At my current rate of 30,000 km every 2 years i'll be at 120,000km (74000 miles) in 8 years.

The biggest question i get from people is about driving with top up in hot weather LOL...
short answer...i do so about half the time, otherwise i'd have heat/sunstroke on a regular basis haha

Mine is a DD mostly for the summer, I try to not drive in any type of bad weather if I can avoid it, but for winter I use the truck or either volvo (the Mustang would most likely spin its only tyre and well until I get the posi track stuff installed, and still then I am not too sure about useing it in winter....we have tones of salt that gets on the road and well you guys know how salt is for cars...

My 2015 convertible is my daily driver, but garage kept so I can just keep the top down. In Northern CA almost every day is a rag top day. The ride to work is so much more fun than it it used to be

Nice guys! I know we all treat our Mustangs the way we want to. Glad we are seeing the various ways!

Mine stays under a high end cover and is only out on nice days. I really intend to have my 12 for many years. 99 Expedition is daily driver.

Mine's a daily driver. We get a couple of weeks of snowy weather every year, and I deal with that as best I can. It is garaged, and I keep it in the best condition I can.

Mine is also a DD. I also have an F150 I use for work though. But I drove my Mustang as much as possible.
Unnoticedtrails, I went on line and checked out your Art. Great stuff. I am also an Artist of sorts. I'm a Luthier. Building Electric Guitars. Here is one I built to look like my Mustang. The Pony is a Sound Hole "Semi Hollow Body". I set it next to my GT at Car Shows.

Mine's my DD, no garage. We have 4 trucks here at the house, 2 of them 4x4, so if I need to get out in the snow, it's no real issue. (Large multi-generational home.) Even if it was, my boss lives less than 2 miles from me, so getting a ride to work is no issue. Still, I've been tossing around the idea of picking up a beater truck for foul weather transportation.

Every Mustang I've had has been daily driven. My '93 hatchback was bought from my boss as my first car, and he took care of it, but also drove it almost daily the entire time he owned it (10 years, 72k miles). Then I drove it daily for about 3 years, until I got T-boned in a campus parking lot by some kid who doesn't know what a 1-way is. Up until that day, the only significant wear that was noticeable was the rear quarter window trim was pretty faded. Paint was nearly showroom quality still. So if you take care of it, even daily driven it should hold up just fine. My current '08 was mostly garage kept before I bought it (40k miles in 7 1/2 years), but also apparently largely neglected, so all the window trim needs replacing already anyhow.

I'd like to have a garage, or at least a covered car port, but sadly I don't and don't have the option yet to have one. I'll just have to continue being vigilant in my car for the car, and take care of problems before they become real problems.

I have had GT's in the past as only cars with year round DD duty but switched long ago to F-150 4x4's or AWD BMW 3's (and kept a beater pick-up). I need a truck too often to not have one somewhere in the line-up. I have my 2012 F-150 now and just got the 2013 GT/CS as a toy.

My GT is only driven in good weather, garaged all the time and even covered after a wash. I'm at 24k mi and I've had it a little over 2 yrs. My F250 gets driven a couple of days a week. I live on a dirt road so sometimes I'm washing twice a week, because I won't ever use a duster on it.

My 14 GT is a toy and I only drive it in nice weather. I also have two chevy trucks and daily drive a 92 Cavalier.

There is no way I would only own one car. I like to have something else to drive in case one is down or out for repair.
