Angry Help! My car won't start!

So, I drive my car everywhere pretty much never have problems, yesterday I was driving, turned the a.c. on, heard it start squeeling, so I turned it off, right away I smelled like a burning type smell, and pulled over, turned the car off, automatically seeing a huge smoke ball from under the hood so I sat there kept trying to start it, and it wouldn't crank over. After a while I started it, moved about 10 feet and it died and would not do anything! Sounded like the battery died.. tried a jump, nothing.. had it towed.. bought brand new battery, new starter, about a month ago replaced spark plugs and wires... I'm kinda at my end, and can't figure it out!! U guys sound very knowledable and id appreciate any suggestions!! Thanks!!

What kind of car? Mustang? What year, etc.
Sounds like you smoked the AC belt. Maybe the compressor froze up. Course if its newer its a serpentine belt. Not sure why it won't start after that.

Its a 97 Mustang V6,.. the belt is still there and is fine, it was replaced about 6 months ago, but when I turn the key, u can hear the fuel then when u go to crank it, it winds like the battery is dead, I have a battery charger and a tester, and the battery is brand spankin new!

Remove the belt and make sure all the pulleys turn freely. Sounds like something froze.

Thanks a lot guys!! I figured out it was the power steering pump that froze up.. cut the belt and the car turned right over perfectly! Now is the obstacle of replacing that!

Why'd you cut the belt if you just replaced it 6 months ago? why not just take it off and check then you would still have a working belt lol. Unless it got ruined from turning it over a lot while the ps pump was froze up

First off, I wouldn't try and start a car that just had a ball of smoke come up from under the hood LOL.
That is automatically tow truck time to prevent further damage.

Glad you found it. I would have suggested replacing the belt due to the smoke...good work.
