Got the New GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition! Now What Videos to Make?
Hey guys!! So I got this new GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition for Christmas (my girlfiend is amazing lol) and I'm loving it and really excited to make some new videos of my 2013 GT, but I need video ideas! I made a video from the rear facing behind the car letting you hear the exhaust some which came out great and will be posted in the next couple days or so, but other than that I don't know what the heck to make videos of lol. I have the suction cup mount too so I can mount it almost anywhere... But yeah, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Mount it right behind the front driver side wheel and go for a drive. Cool to see the road from that perspective and see the wheel angle changing.
Mount on the outside of the windshield looking in at you driving. Try not to obstruct your view.
Mount it on the filler cover so you cam see the side of the car as driving.

Never tried this with a mustang so I don't know if it'll work or not but on some cars if you mount it on the inside of the back window toward the top facing forward you can get a cool shot of the road ahead and also of you steering, changing gear and so on.
Thats what I did but you couldnt see much road (or pedal action, for self-critique), so I switched to the dash. That was on widescreen though and havent tested other settings. A glass roof would work perfect, though, I think.
Ideally I'd love to have one on the roof facing forward, one just behind one of the front wheels to see steering angle, one on the passenger side pointing at the driver to show steering and shifting, one in the footwell for pedal action, one really low on the front bumper and maybe one facing backwards.
One can dream I guess. Haha
