driving cross country

hey guys im about to drive from california to iowa and i was wondering what maintence issues i should handle for my trip. also, the car has been sitting for a few months at home while ive been off to college. so thanks.

Fill the gas.
Fill the washer fluid.
Go.

remove any rodents that may have moved in as they may not know how to return. chech all state laws as I'm sure just like here in CanaDA every province you drive though have differnt rules ie radar detector ok here not there type of thing, So Cruise control is a must ! don't be in a hurry enjoy the ride/view

Try to check all the road and weather conditions. If you're not in a hurry, avoid snowy/slushy mountain passes, and any weather fronts. I swear those *#@* semi trucks just love throwing that sloppy crap all over a nice car! Enjoy the trip in your stang! Good driving, Carl

Maybe some astronaut diapers so you don't have to stop as often ?

Cover the whole car in Blue painters tape to make it rock chip proof! and have a cool blue car for a while!
