Corner beeping.

Here''s one for you purchased used 2005 v6,Comeing of the interstate ,which is a corner get a panic beeping noise from the dash,no lights comeing on ? im a little to large to lay on the floor with my head under the dash while someone else drives. good one (right).

Does it only do it when you hit bumps? I think mine did that with the **** trunk open

Is it the same kind of chime you get when you open the door and have left the headlights on or something?

If its the 75 mile an hour chime it comes from the dash cluster, a dealer can program it out.

I heard of someone else having a similar issue. Turned out his trunk lid wasn't completely closed and hitting bumps or turning a corner was enough to lift it and the chime for an open trunk would go off.

possible cause corner chime.

Thanks for the response and suggestions i will check them out and post findings.
