I've had quite a few interesting things happen, especially since I got this latest car.
This was a while back, I've posted it before so I'll just copy it here.
I was coming down a back road that's sparsely populated and I saw a house up ahead with a kid riding his bike in the yard. Well, I always slow down and pay extra attention when I see kids out playing because you never know when one of them might get a wild hair and dart out into the road after something.
So, he sees me about the same time I saw him and just drops his bike like a stone and comes running full bore. He got to the fence just as I was passing and he yells at the top of his lungs "NICE MUSTANG!!" He couldn't have been more than about 6 years old, and I thought it was cool that not only does he already recognize the Mustang at that age, but is so enthusiastic about it. Future car guy for sure.

I had a guy in an '05/'06 GTO tell me my car was beautiful.
I've had a few people ask if they could drive it.
I've gotten many compliments at car shows.
And a ton of people turning completely around to watch me drive by.

Just yesterday I went to Denny's with some friends I haven't seen in a while (I didn't eat there, I swear!) lol, i never told them i got a mustang, don't like to show off or anything like that. Once everything was said and done I asked my friends were are you parked and he pointed to my car, " oh the blue mustang, you know no big deal" I asked him if it was behind mine as I unlocked the doors and his jaw dropped. He gave his car keys to his girlfriend and said I'm riding with Mac and I couldn't stop laughing.
Besides that nothing but smiles, thumbs up and broken necks from head turners.

I was at the Sturgis Mustang Rally, over Labor Day weekend. During the Show & Shine, a family came by and the little girl, probably 4 or 5, and her older brother (9) were all over the car...never touched it, but all smiles. The little boy knew everything about it, and was busy telling his dad. They asked dad to take photo of them with the car, which he did. I walked over and asked if they would like to sit in it and have their dad take a photo. The little girl couldn't wait, and sat behind the wheel, after I opened the door. Dad thought it was pretty nice. The car had already been judged, so it was no big deal. Pretty cool to see kids so excited over a car.

I was parked at a convenience store one time and was at the register when a mother and son get out of the car next to mine and the kid is looking at the car. I was watching the car because i just don't park it very often where other people could hurt it. So he looks at it and his mother walks around her car and grabs him by the arm and as I walk out I hear her say "Don't touch it! It looks like it would electrocute you!"

Met a long haired hippie looking guy at a stop light going the opposite direction Saturday in a Ferrari 360 Spider. I was looking at his car and he was looking at mine and as we passed when the light changed he threw his hand up and gave me a nod. I did the same in return.

I told myself I wouldn't participate in this kind of nonsense but I'll post just this once. I was coming out of Target and I saw this kid circling me car. The closer I got I realize he's videoing it. He tells me how cool it is blah blah blah and asks permission if you can video tape me leaving. I reverse out of the parking spot and tell him " here, get this" and proceed to give him a 30 foot burnout. The look on his face was priceless, he'll definitely be a mustang owner when he's old enough.

I have to have my ID checked at the gate every time I come to work and the guy that checked it today puts his hands up and says, " Don't worry I won't touch it, but I really want to." Then rubber necked as I left. That DIB gets em every time.
