well i just went to progressive and my insurance ranged from $1200 (entertaining ideas of an '86ish GT) to $2300(brand spankin new Mustang GT, yeah right :P).
an '00 ranger (saw one a while ago for sale) was aroung $1800. the $3000 is what my mom sed when i just randomly asked. but the thing is, we have State Farm not Progressive.
i tried the state farm site but its all confusing

OoOoOo $1600 for an 87 bronco
saw a nice one the other day...so i guess its not nearly as bad as i thought.
I remember when I was doin my first car searches when i was 15 or so. I was so picky, I had to have a nice car, a car that I wanted, not something that I would have to settle for. And I'll tell ya, that's hard to do when ur price range is only between $2500-$3000 (about my entire life savings at the point). Of course I was looking to buy my dream car, a 67 fastback, but I doubted that would even happen. I got my license last May, and bought my first car before that in April. I saw the ad the very first day it was printed, called the guy the same day, and took a look at the car the next day. A 1967 Ford Mustang coupe. Almost my dream car as my first car, I love the thing, even though I'm not even driving it yet. Right now me and my dad are in the process of restoring it. We hope to have it out on the road and used as my daily driver sometime this spring. But until then, I'm driving my family's extra car, a 97 Explorer, very nice car, but just can't compare to the Mustang.
