man, when i didnt have a car, i didnt care what i received. of course i would have loved a mustang or a camaro/firebird, but at that point i just wanted to drive anything i was able to put my hands on.

a 1992 nissan was my first car. got it about 4 years ago, my dad bought it for just 4K because i was accepted into a college... and i love it! (although its getting repairs right now because of the transmission)

Well im at the point of where im trying to find something to drive right now. Im lookin at a never model Ranger. I 1st wanted a 70s f-100 but didnt like one after I drove one. Then I wanted a 95 GT but you can guess how that turned out...$3000 a year for insuence (WTF!!!!!).

we have state farm, but i think they offer the student discount too

we dont have to start paying till Aug (when i get my license) so we'll have some time to do more research

i do have a stash of AAA batteries from my old Game Boy Pocket tho... does that help?

im 16 but a ranger will not coast that much to insure for a year. It would only be a little over a $1000.

I had a '90 Ranger XLT Lariat as my 1st vehicle.
Man I miss it so much, a senior crashed into it when it was parked, I was a Junior then.

Got 3,500 for it though, and have saved a ton since I was 14 (when I saw the blue protype) My dad wants the 05 so between us we're getting it. It will be kinda mine, but his too. I'm the one who will commute in it daily to UTI

Right now I drive my sister's '04 Rav4 to school about 3 days of each week.

And that's my car life story so far

No way Arin. $3,000 a year? Can't be that much. When I got my license I was 16 and I was driving 1992 Ford Escort. Insurance was under $600/year. Year latter, when I was 17, I got 1 year old Mustang (car I currently have) and insurance was around $1,200/year.
