Army Vet and Wife Killed Trying to Buy '66 Mustang

I've bought and sold through CL and haven't had any problems so far. If you are going check out something with a pocket full of cash, you better have protection and better not go alone. When I sold the Cobra, the new owner showed up at my home with $24k cash in a Crown Royal bag. Yeah I know he was packing along with his friend that came with him. Just like me and my buddy who came over for just in case purposes. It's understandable when dealing in large amounts of cash. There's bad people out there. The thing about CL is that if the deal is too good to be true, it probably is not true. Meet in public places. If it's a big cash deal, don't bring it with you on initial meetings. The seller will wait for you to go back and get the money.
It's a shame that this poor couple was lured into this trap. I'm pretty sure you could even talk a police officer into following you a meeting place if you have concerns. Bottom line is always be aware and have a plan.

I'm all for public hanging. These psychos aren't worth the bullets. Use the same rope over and over again so the last thing they smell is the stench from the psycho before them.

I am originally from the area that they lived in, the gentleman had a concealed weapons permit and was licensed to carry a firearm. Man..... it's just tragic. The news has been all over it here. Thoughts to the family and friends.

Why would you do that? They would probably welcome him as one of their own. He's on the same level as that pos organization.
