This was another milestone I've been waiting along time for. I was always Club photographer. Last last I was in the game. What fun! They say I did good, best time 13.47 @ 103 mph. I broke 14 on my first run and got better each time.
A bunch went from our Club to support and watch me, making it more pressure. But it was great. A Charger R/T Hemi never did break 14, nor did the two Bullit cars (Club members, one with slicks).
And to answer those questinos about 4.10's and mpg, the trip there was on 70 miles and with a/c on I got 22mpg. Re-zero'ed, and while at the track I got 7 mpg, now that was at speeds ranging from 100-103 mph.
Again I must praise God for this opportunity and give thanks to my donor for the life & fun I am having.
