I bought a 2005 gt with 54k miles and I believe I blew out the overdrive bc I was on the freeway and punched it heard a pop and bam no more gears jut park ... Does this sound correct and if so what should I be paying to get this fixed the tranny worked great with od off but shortly for about a week I'd say od seemed inconsistent i was going about 65 when I punched it and it seems like it went to shift to of and then popped .... My car has fr intake and catback and a 93 tune I'm gettin it in the shop Monday and I do not have alot of cash for repairs I just wanna make sure I'm not over fixing the problem by replacing the whole tranny

 

Ummm it sounds like that the whole tranny just went and you prolly need to replace it or get it rebuilt.

 

where are you taking it for repairs? I wonder if its just the tq converter?
