Here is something to ponder.............And I am very curious about this urban legend....
I have two kids- one circa 1993 and the other circa 1995...I got fat, I got miserable, I vowed never in this lifetime to go through that nasty mess again........
Now my question is:
Why do they say "water broke" What the hell does that mean exactly? I know I did it twice and all I got out of it was a hellova lot of pain and grossness and sleepless nights-I never stood in a puddle of anything.

So my question is- is that just a way of saying someone went into labor? Or does something really gross that I was spared from to keep my sanity happen?

BTW- My kids are 13 and 11 now and I friggin adore them. But I am dang glad they are no longer babies.
