Why aren't street "encounters" allowed on the forum?

Well bro, being an 11 year police veteran ( I'm not anymore ), that's complete BS. You got screwed by a wannabe cowboy. In South Carolina, revving your motor isn't even a violation.

I like street racing. The mustang wouldn't even be around if it wasn't for street racing. It's not a street legal drag car. It's a street car. Race on brothers. Just try and keep it as safe as possible.

Donkeys aside..............street racing IS NOT COOL. Unlike video games and The Fast and the Furious frachise, you might not walk away when it all goes wrong.
Keep the racing to the tracks.
I'm glad this forum doesn't allow such posts

First rule of Fight Club is..
Same principal applies to street racing. I can tell you that my plates and car description are on file at my local city, county, and state PD departments for driving speeds in excess of 100 mph as well as other street racing ordeals on public roadways. It may give you the feeling of adrenaline and fun for a minute or while but eventually the adrenaline wears off and you have some bad experiences. Like me receiving a reckless driving ticket that I'm battling after 5 months and doing triple digit speeds into 360's while barely avoiding road barriers in the middle of a freeway. My actions were reckless, beyond stupid, and could have gotten myself or a slew of other people killed. Maybe by keeping the stories to yourself and not having an ego to feed, you may be a little less likely to do reckless things with your 3000+ pound vehicle. I'm sure a huge amount of the TMS populace have loads of stories to share about street racing but in the end, there will be those who try and go out to "one-up" our fellow person. Maybe you should try a club sanctioned event at a race track where safety is the highest priority instead of the street where you're on roadways that aren't designed for high speeds and cornering?

Want to race? Go to a track. If your ego can't take a ricer pulling up beside you and yanking your chain, buy a Prius and grow up.
One person losing their life to ***hats racing on public streets is one too many. You can "beg to differ" all you want to, you're still dead wrong.
